Kamala Harris in second grade |
Kamala Harris totally destroyed Joe Biden in a tense exchange concerning busing. She told him she does not consider him a racist, but then slammed him for not only working with segregationist, but working with them to prevent school busing. beating back tears, she told him his actions were "hurtful" to her.
"There was a little girl in California who was part of the second class to integrate her public schools, and she was bused to school every day, and that little girl was me,” she said.
Instead of apologizing and saying that his views had changed, he still supported the argument that local government should make these decisions.
At that moment, he was toast.
As he argued school busing should be a local matter, Harris nailed him on the need for the federal government to step in on race issues. "That's where the federal government must step in. That's why we have the Voting Rights Act and the Civil Rights Act, that's why we need to poss the Equality Act and the ERA. There are moments in history where states fail to preserve the civil rights of others."
This hurt.
Harris was also the person to say something about the constant interruptions, most of which were coming from Kirsten Gillebrand.
"America does not want to witness a food fight," said Harris. "They want to know how we're going to put food on their table."
Harris also got a good shot at Trump over his views on climate change, saying he "embraces science fiction over science fact."
Finally, she called Donald Trump thegraeatest national security threat to tthe United States.
Bernie Sanders has promised to raise taxes on the middle class to help pay for free everything. Even though he called Trump a "phony," "pathological liar," and "racist," I doubt people will be inclined to vote for someone who promises to raise their taxes.
Without question, Harris won this debate, and rather impressively.
What's your take?
Agree.
ReplyDeleteHarris played the Mommy and said no food fights amongst the democrats. Then she threw her entire dinner at Joe Biden. She played the race card with appropriate lip biting. The school she mentioned was the only school that she would go to. It was Berkley California for Christ's sake. Biden could of course talk about her r3coerd as AG in California and how that impacted minorities.
ReplyDeleteShe played the race card and proved she would lose against Trump as most voters in the general election have had enough of the lip biting playing the race card.
Tonight was another show of the Dem's allowing the questioners to ask crazy either or questions letting candidates paint themselves in an ideological corner that the progressive purists love and America rejects.
Same as last night, Trump wins again tonight.
Not tonight. Harris was quite effective.
ReplyDeleteHarris is a screeching phony. She may end up as a vp candidate but not the top spot.
ReplyDeleteHarris was impressive tonight, but some of the dodgy stuff she did as a prosecutor is eventually going to catch up with her. She definitely swings for the fences, and tonight it paid off. But when she misses she misses big, like in the Kavanaugh hearings.
ReplyDeleteLunatics- all twenty of them.
ReplyDeleteThere were 3 other candidates in 2016 as well, they were just bad.
ReplyDeleteHarris' mother was from India and her father from Jamaica. she spent much of her young years in Canada. She is going to play the hurt race card? She is a phony and will not take the black vote from Joe Biden. She had that attack planned. She is a prosecutor and she played him well. They are already selling camping shirts saying,'I'm that little girl". What a load of crap. Joe fought the fight with the rules of the 70's. He had to work with those shitbag racists dems from the south. Now they are all republicans and this new dem crowd has an easier time in the senate.
ReplyDeleteSadly Joe is the last of the gentleman statesmen. The dems much like the Trumpsters want red meat. They love the screaming bulging eye candidates. It is a new age and decent men like Joe Biden need not apply. The CNN Harris news machine has written him off as dead. The dems will field their version of a leftist Trump. In the end the real Trump will win.
I didn't know busing was about racial relations?
ReplyDeleteI always thought it was and economic development plan for the suburbs. Couple black kids and some buses was a bargain, considering the growth.
Joe, good guy, elder statesman, VP, could of went out on top, it's very sad ...Clinton took him out 4 years ago and everyone knows it...but this tonight was humiliating to his stature and position....Harris should pull out as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteSaul Alinsky school for Lefties. Stalin described his converts as “Useful Idiots”. There here, there in D.C. Read about Saul and what he said ,then read what the candidates are preaching.
ReplyDeletefree health care for illegals when I pay 1250 a month with high deductibles and a co-pay vote for the dems
ReplyDeleteWillie Brown's c-holster will be the nominee. Breaking glass ceilings on one's back and knees is old school. And I like it.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking Spanish is very impressive. They sound like the Bush family (although dad only spoke French and Mandarin).
ReplyDeleteBusing , free healthcare for illegal immigrants, open borders, Trump must be smiling,. do the Democrats really think these policies will unite America and make us a more prosperous country? They are delusional.
ReplyDeleteBoy, think of all the CO2 those buses spewed out.
ReplyDeleteTrump won the debate again. Biden definitely has a physical/mental issue.
ReplyDeletethe dems platform will destroy America they will tax you to death talking about death they will thousands of babies the country will look like your democrat controlled cities the no border policy will bring yet more crime how can anyone with a sound mind vote for a democrat?
ReplyDeleteI wish Bernie Sanders would stop flailing his arms when he speaks, it a small thing, but it drives me nuts. He could be a better candidate if he didn't look and speak like a lunatic. I agree that F. Chuck Todd and Rachel Maddow were terrible, they acted like adoring fans of the candidates.
ReplyDeleteHarris is an angry, mean-spirited person. She looks like she was an angry child. Let's see how she plays the race card. Her father was Jamaican, and was not subjected to the suffering of African-Americans in this country. Her mother was Indian, who fled the suffering of life in India for a far better life in America. But instead of showing gratitude for being the daughter of immigrants who fled third world countries for better life here, she will bemoan the way she was treated as a young girl of color. Despite that, she became a lawyer, prosecutor, and U.S. Senator. What is she complaining about? America has been very good to her and her parents. Trump worships our country. Harris just tears it down.
ReplyDeleteWho cares, this is a complete waste of time. When we here in Pennsyltucky get to vote it will have already been decided by some backwards tiny state with a "Straw Poll" and we will get no real choice
ReplyDeleteif you want this fixed we need a 1 day nation wide primary for candidates then 6 months later the election
stop this nonsense of running 2 years before the election
Kamala Harris 2020, did you know she is a minority? She seriously is the worst.
ReplyDeleteBiden blew it. I'm glad. Last thing I want is another corporate dem in the house. Bernie made his point loud and clear that the only way we are going to change the system is to fight against big pharm, big oil, etc. or it's all just talk. Sometimes Bernie's weakness is his truthfulness. It's hard to put in a 3 or 4 word catchphrase, that yes, your taxes will go up to pay for universal healthcare, but in the end you will be bringing home more net pay because you are no longer paying huge deductions out of your paycheck for health insurance.
ReplyDeleteOn that same note it is hard to explain to people, that yes, the economy seems to be robust right now, but I've lived thru this "Put it on the credit card and worry about it later" twice before under Reagan and Bush and both times it came crashing down when the debts come due. Trump's view is "What do I care, by then I'll be dead".
I personally would like to see a Bernie/Warren ticket.
I am impressed by Buttigieg - seems rational and level headed for the most part, but probably way too inexperienced at this stage. Someone to keep any eye on.
ReplyDeleteHarris did well, though it did seem to come off a bit to calibrated and calculated. Dems need to weed the field down to a manageable 7-8 candidates by September.
She's not my preference, and would have some headwind connecting with voters nationally as a California Democrat that Trump & Reps would aggressively paint her as, but would probably do well enough in bringing in fatigued college educated suburban voters who went Trump in 2016 back in PA, Michigan & Wisconsin. North Carolina, Florida and Ohio will be massive battleground states in a Trump-Harris match up.
Again not my preference, as I can easily see her being the mirror opposite of Trump and simply pandering to the far left base and ignoring the middle. Will be mildly amusing to watch how hypocritically the MAGA crowd switches over the the spastic, street protesting, whiners that they seem to feel is so unpatriotic and disloyal. I'm equally sure, with the shoe on the other foot, Dems will just as quickly lean into their new role as uppity condescending assholes.
Harris is the embodiment of every Trumpkin's worst nightmare... Black Hillary! There are going to be random piles of ashes all over the country topped with MAGA hats from all the spontaneous combustion events. Some people will absolutely lose their minds if it happens. FOX News would just broadcast images and video of hot lava for weeks after the election.
ReplyDelete@9:44
ReplyDeleteThe DNC will let you get that Sanders/Warren ticket WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER.
Did you sleep through 2016?
Random piles of ashes?
ReplyDeleteThe only ashes I see are from poor ole' Joe's smoldering sorry behind and any chance at all that we'll see a Demo "moderate" on the ballot.
Trump will beat anyone of the dems
ReplyDeleteThen you have nothing to worry about.
ReplyDelete@10:40 - "If I keep repeating it, maybe it will come true." Whistle past the graveyard as much as you want, but your false confidence matches well with Dems/Hillary in 2016.
ReplyDeleteBernie, what's with comments being deleted?
ReplyDeleteBetween all the spoken Spanish, and use of affected blaccents, I'm starting to think several of the candidates are pandering for minority votes.
ReplyDeleteHarris will be the nominee. The system is rebuilt to quickly the biggest, fastest money raiser. She had a good start and will pull away now. They don't want another Bernie debacle and allegations of dirty tricks. She'll be a strong candidate. He'll be a difficult incumbent to defeat with a good economy. Telling people they shouldn't believe their lying eyes and promising to raise taxes is not a strong platform.
”Bernie, what's with comments being deleted”
ReplyDeleteI have no obligation to host comments that violate my comment policy, including vulgar remarks about women who seek office. Be a sleaze somewhere else.
Biden looked horrible when he stopped multiple times, and said "I am out of time". While that is the gentlemanly thing to do, not one other candidate did it. Fire in the belly says keep speaking until your points are made. Someone pointed out to me he wanted to limit what he said and looked forward to being out of time. Either way, he looked weak, disoriented and ineffective. I think he is toast - but I thought Trump would never win.
ReplyDelete@12:31 you are lost or confused if you think freedom of speech does or should apply here. Bernie is pretty careful about deleting messages - so whatever it was that was said should be known by whomever posted it to be inappropriate. Maybe you posted the offending message(s) and are having trouble discriminating.
ReplyDeleteOn another comments, Gillibrand was screeching to me, not Harris. As Christie said on the Late Show, Gillbrand needs a ticket back to NY. Harris didn't come across angry to me. She was respectful "I do not think you are a racist" but she was firm and serious and not willing to be ignored - which is what Biden tried to do until she came out with "I was that girl." He should have apologized and said he was wrong - instead he got Biden-defensive. Didn't work for him.

ReplyDelete"Her father was Jamaican, and was not subjected to the suffering of African-Americans in this country"
So as soon as all the White folks in the town figured out he was from Jamaica they wanted him to join the country club?
or the Lodge?
"Trump worships our country."
No comrade trump worships comrade trump
he likes money but loves himself.
Gillebrand was a typical obnoxious New Yorker. Harris was the adult in the room but she played the race card by going back 40 years which were different times indeed. All the Dems in the last 2 nights demonstrates their Saul Alinsky allegiance. America is not ready for fascist that portray all business people as evil enemies to be scorned. Those people just happen to be your neighbors & contributors to your community.
ReplyDeleteHarris among others deliver a false narrative about the Trump tax cuts. Over 80% of Americans that pay taxes got a tax cut in 2019 & generally at least $1000/year. The 20% that had an increase were the corporate executives that they berate who lost their deductions for State & Local taxes on their big salaries & estate homes on Long Island & New Jersey.
ReplyDeleteSo the fabrications spewed over the past 2 nights about the tax bill only helping the wealthy is garbage talk that needs refuted with facts.
At least the moderator last night asked Bernie if his healthcare would increase taxes & that got the facts out there about that. Same thing for “free college” which will be paid for by increased taxes on those working to cover that cost.
I'm that little girl"
ReplyDeleteAH, no, no you ARE NOT., Your parents were doctors in Berkley California. You are a fraud. Your shirts for money are disgusting. Well now the political spotlight is on you. Old Joe Biden may fade but you may find your new celebrity is as much a political curse as a blessing.
The Zirinski crowd and multiple crazy dem females are gushing with excitement. If she is the candidate she may yell as loud as Trump but she will lose.
Gentleman Joe Biden can beat Trump but he is an old white man and they are no longer welcome in the new dem party. Also no statesmen need apply.
OMG How will they handle the second four years of Trump> I for sure will vote for TRUMP 2020!
ReplyDeleteIllegals get free healthy care and free college? And who is paying for the BS? the working man! TRYMP 2020 all the way!
What a campaign committee is allowed to do with any lingering cash:
ReplyDeleteIt can donate the funds to charities(like The Clinton Foundation ect.) or political parties(help buy out other candidates); it can contribute $2000 per election to other candidates(build networks); and it can save the money in case the candidate chooses to run again.(be a professional candidate)
With a system that operates like this, with no dominate front runner to buy out these political opportunist, it's easy to see why there are so many candidates this go round.
A dominate front runner gives us the tyranny of no choice, but without a front runner we get the tyranny of to much choice much of which are bad.
It's not hard to understand, but it is hard to believe for people with any moral sentiments.
The uninsured (including illegal immigrants) get care no matter what in emergencies, and the rest of us foot the bill. May as well out them on an insurance plan that encourages them to get less expensive preventative care that makes emergency treatment less necessary.
ReplyDelete8:24, Harris' parents being doctors has nothing to do with her school having previously been segregated.
ReplyDelete11:53, There is also effectively no barrier to entry for candidates anymore. Previously, you had to get at least some support from party elites and large donors in order to get the media coverage necessary to run a viable campaign. But in the past few years, it has become possible to generate funding and a following with little institutional backing because social media gives you access to very cheap media coverage and large numbers of small donors.
For every able bodied college age citizen with an IQ over 83- education is already free so is dental and healthcare, room and board and meals.

ReplyDelete"fabrications spewed over the past 2 nights about the tax bill only helping the wealthy is garbage talk"
the tax break is based on a percentage so the wealthy got a much better break in dollars than the middle class.
most put the number as 83 percent of that cut went to the top.
The purpose of Comrade trump's tax cuts were to reward the wealthy while sprinkling crumbs to the middle class. He even bragged about the millions he was giving them in the dining room at his resort.
The same place the Secret Service was told NOT to vet the workers too deeply as some were illegals.
7.25
ReplyDelete"asked Bernie if his healthcare would increase taxes & that got the facts out there about that."
yup taxes go up but your wages go up as well.the healthcare provided by your employer is part of your wages.so that is an offset.
As to free college---start removing some of the expensive non-working equipment at the defense department and your free college is paid for.
one example
https://publicintegrity.org/national-security/failure-to-communicate-inside-the-armys-doomed-quest-for-the-perfect-radio/
"But JTRS, pronounced “jitters,” failed to live up to its promise. Overly ambitious, poorly managed and saddled by incompatible goals, the program burned through $6 billion dollars while producing little working hardware. Delays forced the Army to spend $11 billion more on old-style radios to meet the urgent demands of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars."
so start applying the same republican zeal in screwing the poor to the defense department.

ReplyDelete"Illegals get free healthy care and free college? And who is paying for the BS"
So when the illegal Irish kid breaks a leg and goes to a hospital-is there a special color coded dumpster for the kid to be thrown into and ignored?
"dreamers" want to go to college?
All they know is the US as they were brought here as children.
deporting them is just dumb.
look up Lance Cpl. Jose Gutierrez
The American Ideal that all of mankind has inalienable rights, to life ,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, is unique in all of history. It means there are no aliens when it comes to these basic rights.`
ReplyDeleteWhen you place a-lien on some peoples in-a-lien-able right's we are all diminished everywhere.
I believe our borders are defined by our military presence in the world not some static line on a map. Where we go militarily so goes our highest ideals and principles. Our borders end where our military is restricted.
I think Bill de Blasio's campaign will be the winner...not of the election of coarse, but being a New York Mayor, his campaign is in a position to receive the most contributions from local contributors seeking favors after his planned withdraw.
ReplyDeleteKamala Harris is by far the best disguised quisling. Hillary was obviously a Republican....but Harris is deeply on the down-low.
So ask those working if they want to give back the cash they got in 2018 from the tax bill before you claim it as crumbs for the middle class.
ReplyDeleteThe $1000+ that most received was not crumbs to them. Ask the corporate executives how they feel about paying higher taxes last year from losing their SALT deductions thanks to Trump. Did business owners get a tax break-yes. However those are the people that created the jobs for everyone in the first place & paid higher taxes then in virtually every other country in the world.
3.44
ReplyDeleteAs to the tax break when 83 percent of the tax break goes to the middle class and the rest goes to the wealthy then one can claim it is for the struggling little guy.
Until then it is a giveaway to the wealthy.
"those are the people that created the jobs for everyone in the first place & paid higher taxes then in virtually every other country in the world."
1)business hires people to make profit for them, they do not hire simply because of civic virtue.
Those same business people have no problem disposing of long term employees without shedding a tear.they demand loyalty but that only works one way.
2)when you moved into your residence did the community tell you that you would not pay property taxes for at least five years?
after all you are spending money here and should be rewarded for the jobs you support by your patronage.
not a chance.
course if you are Foxconn in Wis. the only thing not turned over to them were their daughters.
3)As to taxes the rates were higher but only idiot companies paid that rate.
How much did Exxon pay in taxes last year?
or Amazon,etc.
4)care to name all the deductions they get to write off their taxes?
Healthcare for their employees for one,and as to regulations every compliance work or cost is deductible.
5)business gets advantages of the rule of law, police and fire protection and markets for their wares or services.yet when it comes to paying their fair share they headquarters overseas.Stanley,Halliburton, etc
6)business cries that they need skilled workers but at bare bones wages.
a business owner complained highly on Fox about the need for skilled workers--the hoot of it was he wanted machinists with five years experience along with CAD-CAM and he was paying 14 an hour.
He wondered why only unskilled people would apply.
7)Comrade trump and the republicans want a stupid wall and detest illegals because they do not want them here.
So why not stop the influx by fining the business owner for hiring that illegal?
Say one thousand a day for every day the illegal worked a job.
never happen of course because those business snowflakes need to exploit those illegals for cash.
So the argument that business owners are maligned and that they are really only concerned with lifting everyone up in this world is a myth.
3:44 PM
ReplyDeleteMy crumbs were gobbled up by higher gas prices, exxon got my rebate.
Gas prices and heating fuel are the only real across the board indication of whether the working man is getting any relief. Of the two administrations Obama's enjoys the distinction of lower gas prices.
5:06PM
ReplyDeleteExxon and Amazon or any other company should NOT have to pay any taxes, corporations are not people, are not entitled to any rights, and are not responsible for anything they do.
The people who hold ownership are responsible for all liabilities and should get all the profits and pay their taxes.
Companies were never intended to be taxed as outlined above & the deductions are legitimate expenses against revenue.
ReplyDeleteThw3 Supreme Court ruled corporations are people, so if they have the privileges of people they have the responsibility.
ReplyDeleteStop playing games with your bullshot Fox talking points. No one is taxiing all anyone's income at 70%. The idea is and was to go to the rates that helped create the great American middle class. All income over a fixed amount, 500, to one million or so dollars gets taxed at progressively higher rates. Was that way up until Reagan sold out the country's working people.
Also if you want to say companies should be given special status, fine. Then back a law with mandatory living wages and healthcare benefits for all employees over the age of eighteen..
So much misinformation today.
Corporations are legal fictions, fake people.
ReplyDeleteKamala is not black!!!!
ReplyDeleteThink of a corporation as the mechanical form, and now somewhat digital form of artificial intelligence.
ReplyDeleteHas the supreme court determined what pronoun should be use when referring to these so called people?
"Kamala is not black!!!!"

Yes. Any discussion of my comment policy is subject to deletion. I waant to discuss topics, not go back and forth with trolls.
ReplyDeleteI kept the remark about Harris not being back up because the racists and birthers have in fact started in on her. Even Donald Trump, Jr, retweeted some birther crap, although he later deleted it.
Conservative or Liberal, Deist or Pagan, Jersey transplant or Lehigh Valley native, we're all in this mess together. Let's talk. Let us do no harm.

why healthcare is important
ReplyDeletehttps://www.propublica.org/article/methodist-le-bonheur-healthcare-sues-poor-medical-debt
Her share of the two-night stay: $12,109.
Barrett, who has never made more than $12 an hour,
"Since then, the nonprofit hospital system affiliated with the United Methodist Church has doggedly pursued her, adding interest to the debt seven times and garnishing money from her paycheck on 15 occasions.
Barrett, 63, now owes about $33,000, more than twice what she earned last year, according to her tax return."
"On Jan. 16, Barrett appeared in Shelby County General Sessions Court to try to stop Methodist’s latest attempt to garnish her paycheck from her part-time job at Kroger, where she makes $9.05 an hour."
"It wasn’t that she didn’t want to pay, Barrett tried to tell the judge, but that she couldn’t. She had to stop working to care for her sister, who died of cancer in November.
“You gotta pay,” replied Moore tersely."
nothing like compassion from Judge Moore.
"The hospital’s contentions, however, do not match the text of its financial assistance, billing and collections policies or the frequently asked billing questions on the hospital’s website. None of those mention interest-free payment plans."
"If Methodist doesn’t add any interest to Barrett’s debt and she pays as ordered, she will pay it off in 330 months.
She will be 90 years old.
Not long after her day in court, Barrett filed her 2018 taxes.
She made $13,800.
“It’s in the hands of God now,” she said. “There’s only so much I can do.”
And there is only 39 million US citizens without health insurance.
as an comedian said "i will view corporations as people when Texas executes a couple of them"
ReplyDeletelet's see how justice is served for corporations
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deepwater_Horizon_oil_spill
"In April 2012, the Justice Department filed the first criminal charge against Kurt Mix, a BP engineer, for obstructing justice by deleting messages showing that BP knew the flow rate was three times higher than initial claims by the company, and knew that "Top Kill" was unlikely to succeed, but claimed otherwise.[364][365][366] Three more BP employees were charged in November 2012. Site managers Donald Vidrine and Robert Kaluza were charged with manslaughter for acting negligently in their supervision of key safety tests performed on the rig prior to the explosion, and failure to alert onshore engineers of problems in the drilling operation.[367] David Rainey, BP's former vice-president for exploration in the Gulf of Mexico, was charged with obstructing Congress by misrepresenting the rate that oil was flowing out of the well.[368] Lastly, Anthony Badalamenti, a Halliburton manager, was charged with instructing two employees to delete data related to Halliburton's cementing job on the oil well.[369]
None of the charges against individuals resulted in any prison time, and no charges were levied against upper level executives. Anthony Badalementi was sentenced to one year probation,[370] Donald Vidrine paid a $50,000 fine and received 10 months probation,[371] Kurt Mix received 6 months probation,[372] and David Rainey and Robert Kaluza were acquitted.
Yep eleven people died and seventeen injured.
somehow if i thought the steering on my car might not be working correctly but i took a chance and killed people on a sidewalk when the steering wheel broke off i would do some serious jail time.
"And there is only 39 million US citizens without health insurance."
ReplyDeleteHopefully all Americans will have no need to contract with a private insurance company that mainly serve as pay walls to actual heathcare.
Right now you can't have open access to medicines, you might hurt yourself, see the government cares about you.

and of course the border patrol's biggest concern?
"Prescriptions for insulin are not required in Canadian pharmacies Smith-Holt said, but the caravan has them so they can prove to the border patrol they are not intending to resell them when returning to the United States."
guess they "were tired of winning"
We want an honest and truthful candidate. This process will weed out the BS and the truth. See your mancrush McClure has endorsed Harris. Lets all see how that workes out. His premature push of DiLuzio blew up. He wants the recognition but we will see what unfolds

"“I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco,” Brown asserted in his Chronicle piece. “I have also helped the careers of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Gov. Gavin Newsom, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and a host of other politicians. The difference is that Harris is the only one who, after I helped her, sent word that I would be indicted if I ‘so much as jaywalked’ while she was D.A.”
"The bigger question may be why opponents are so eager to explain the rise of Harris–a rare woman of color in the highest rungs of power–as the corrupt benefit of a romantic liaison rather than a result of her own political acumen."
Some folks are just afraid of powerful women
Anon 7:03, So you are denying their romantic liaisons? You sure you want to go with that. After all she is only wanting to speak truth to power! Or is that only to men of power?
ReplyDeleteYou sound worried.

"He first met Harris in 1994, when she was an assistant district attorney in Alameda County. He was 60 years old at the time, and had been estranged from his wife, Blanche Brown, since 1981."
"Harris ended the relationship–which was conducted in the open and frequently reported on at the time–in late 1995,"
Harris is hiding nothing. It was reported and common knowledge at the time.
So another right wing smear job turns out to be a nothing burger.
No one should care if that old Willie Brown had an ambitious young lawyer on bugger patrol to get a head. Good for her an good for him.
ReplyDeleteThe things being said about Kamala Harris is what makes her so perfect to the establishment.
ReplyDeleteShe provides adequate fodder for the press and others like Trump. Yet again another flawed persona we'll spend the next 4 years bickering about and not getting anything done. Statue quo.
Are their no Democrats with a spotless military record and a tested devotion to the nation, say someone scandal free, rational, with integrity?
At the end of "Lord of the Flies", that's how it feels now politically, the serviceman that comes ashore to see the children behaving like animals...that's Tulsi Gabbard.
Powerful women? Depends on what you mean?

It's not a good idea to give power to those who would not otherwise have it, but for their connections.
