John Stoffa Report

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
John is a good man. He is facing a major challenge in his life with courage and dignity. We wish him well.
ReplyDeleteHe is lucky he has all that public trough money. Since he tried to dump Gracedale other less fortunate would have suffered.
ReplyDeleteIn public life. John was always able to disagree without being disagreeable. I crossed party lines to vote for him and would do so again.
ReplyDeleteanon 6:15, of course you did. Stoffa is the darling of the republicans. He followed their script to the letter.
ReplyDeleteIt is disgusting that after all these years the Stoffa-haters have crawled out from under their rocks to post nasty comments here. John was a man of integrity. There were no scandals under his administration. No "pay for play" politics. He was an honorable man. His attempt to sell Gracedale was for good reasons. When the voting public prohibited it, he did not punish Gracedale, but rather invested even more county dollars into its infrastructure. His accomplishments in 8 years were impressive. He has earned his public pensions over the years. The Stoffa-haters are free to crawl back under their rocks until the next time Bernie runs a story about John.
ReplyDeleteLove me some Stoffa's frozen dinners!
ReplyDeleteGo back under your rock Stoffa lover. The guy was certainly not universally loved especially by people that worked under him.
ReplyDeleteJohn Stoffa is very highly regarded by 90% of the workforce under him. I consider him the ideals public servants.
ReplyDeleteJohn was an honorable man. Some of today's elected officials should try emulating him.
ReplyDeleteStoffa and Angle were joined at the hip and ran the county together. They were both in like ways honorable men.
ReplyDeleteMost employees would disagree but they know you would attack them.
