  4. Lots of nonsense above, but a legit question is whether the RNC and RCCC have thrown in the towel on PA-7. I have not seen a single TV ad for Marty from him on his behalf. Meanwhile, Wild and the DCCC have been up for weeks. Seems like the only plan the R's have is to protect incumbents Brian Fitzpatrick in PA-1 and Tom MacArthur in NJ.

  6. I'm predicting a landslide win for Wild. Not sure if Nothstein is even actively campaigning. The Democratic Party is running TV ads for Wild on a daily basis. Wondering if Nothstein can exploit her close ties to Pawlowski to undecided and swing voters, especially as his sentencing may occur right around election day. Even if he does, the Democrat voters might not even view such close ties as a negative.

  9. I wrote a comment at 2:30 a.m. it stated that I was undecided and would watch one of the programs Bernie listed. I said I was leaning Marty. My comment was deleted. I have no idea why.

  10. Charlie Dent would lose this race. Gerrymandering was revised by a partisan court. The wheel has turned.

  11. I'm voting for Wild because she's a labor tradition street brawler. Just ask Morganelli.

  13. 1:29, I deleted a few vulgar and trollish comments posted overnight. If you were not vulgar, I may have accidentally deleted you. I have a few trolls who attempt to hijack this blog on a near daily basis. It is also possible you failed to post your comment. If you saw it published, then I deleted you and am sorry IF you are following the rules. This blog is for Marty, Wild or Silfies supporters.

  15. Thank you Bernie for explaining your deletions. There were two nasty comments made before my posting. I guess that I got mistakenly deleted with them. I really enjoy your blog. Think you try to be fair. I often learn about local things here
    Thanks.

It's just politics; the district is more balanced now, Wild has daily TV commercials and fliers in the mail and Wild will benefit from Democratic Party efforts to bring in college students from NJ, NY and CT for the door to door work and phone banking. Her campaign is better funded and she is more organized. I don't think Nothstein has much of a chance, he just doesn't seem like a good candidate beyond the name recognition. He barely won his own primary.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
