ACCHS Celebrates Baccalaureate Mass for Class of 2018
Have you ever tried walking down an aisle for a few hundred feet with your eyes closed and holding the Bible on top of your head? I'll bet a Protestant minister could never do that. Priests have superpowers.
These young ladies were delighted until I told them the state just passed a law requiring five years of high school.
"Spicy" Vinnie Lynch (far left), who was the heart of the Vikings basketball team, is with the Baryshnikov of Basketball himself, Jay Vaughan. Lafayette's struggling basketball program is about to get a whole lot better.
Young Mr.Garcia is very proud of the guitar in his tie for some reason.
Jordan "McBuckets" McChristian with Keeshawn "the Beast" Kellman. Jordan will be playing next year with Penn State Lehigh Valley while Keeshawn is spending a year at Perkiomen Prep.
DeSales bound "Who Dat" Lambert was wondering why there was no number on the back of his graduation robe. I told him the judges have them.
(Warning, Bragging alert!) Dat with his mother. Dat was born quite ill and spent the first six months of his life in a hospital. He has huge scar across his stomach from emergency surgery performed when he was just two days old. He suffered from epilepsy until he was about 10. His father unexpectedly passed away just as Dat finished his freshman year. Doctors said he would never play sports. He played three, but began to focus on basketball as a sophomore. He was told he was too short to play hoops. He played varsity for four years and was his team's top scorer as a junior and senior. He'd like to go into sports medicine and take care of his mother because he says she took care of him. He's a great young man. Lots of wonderful people - coaches, teachers and parents - have helped him along the way. Allentown Central really helped him reach his potential, and I would recommend that school to anyone. .

This post is one of your very best. Ever. After the years of your sharing his accomplishments, feel like Dat is ours too.
To be young again. Good luck and God bless to all.
