McClure: Norco Hiring Pool to Be More Inclusive
“It is in the interest of the County to attract the best candidates,” McClure said. “We need our policies to reflect our goals of being inclusive and welcoming.”
The McClure administration is also adding an appeal procedure to its Harassment Prevention Policy to ensure County employees feel protected when they file grievances.
The new policies take effect on June 1, 2018.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
This is news? In what universe?
ReplyDeleteMancruah Alert!
ReplyDeleteWhat is he going to do about the low morale? Just as bad as when Brown ran the place!
ReplyDeleteMorale is always low. This is a government workforce.
ReplyDeleteGovernment workers are generally overpaid especially when considering benefits vs private industry. Therefore one would ask will the most qualified candidate be hired or will it be the most politically correct applicant?
ReplyDeleteO’hare you’re an idiot! This is news? This is the law you moron. This has nothing to do with McClure so get your nose out of his ass.
ReplyDelete"Reasonable accommodations" will be made for disabilities? So why did they kick the Area Agency on Aging director to the curb while he was recovering from an illness? That man gave many years of dedicated service to Northampton County citizens.
ReplyDeleteNobody kicked him anywhere,
