LV Congressional: The Best Dem Lost

Yesterday was a long an disappointing day for me.it included a 13 hour stint at the polls, followed by a trip to Easton to hand deliver the results. After that, I dropped in on LV Congressional candidate John Morganelli's election night party. I was tired and had previously told him that I would skip it. But John is my friend, and I felt I should be there, win or lose, to share in his triumph or defeat. Unfortunately, it was the latter. The best Democrat lost, virtually ensuring a GOP victory in the Fall contest that will decide on the next Congressman from the Lehigh Valley.

Some of you like to say I'm the kiss of death. Though I backed Lamont McClure in the Exec race last year and he won, he told me last night that's only because he was wearing "Berniebane." He said it protected him from my evil powers. As I reflect on this, he may have a point  All three of the state rep.candidates I backed also went down the tubes.

Could it be me?

Nah.

Let me tell you why John lost. You can thank the people of California. You can thank the people of states like New Jersey and New York, which seeded SuperPacs with hundreds of thousands of dollars to run a vicious negative campaign, and one in which victor Susan Wild may have improperly coordinated with them.  Had John won, you could thank billionaires from Chicago and Texas.

The one group that practically had nothing to do with the funding of this race? The people of the Lehigh Valley.

As one well regarded and astute political consultant told me last night, "Federal races are now out of our hands."

To those of you who still believe in democracy, what's happening is making it impossible for local communities to decide for themselves who they want to represent them in Washington.

Susan Wild will learn this the hard way soon, when the GOP comes after her. But she need have no fear of a kiss of death from me. I'll never support her for anything after she lied to Morganelli and broke a promise to run a clean campaign.

  1. Wild is dead meat. No matter what tricks the Democrats did to try and win Dent's seat. Even re-drawing the district boundaries, their true colors prevailed and won tonight.

It will be ugly in November when Wild accuses the Republicans of colluding with the Russians to defeat her.

  2. Bernie,
Is there any possibility Morganelli might run as an Independent to fill Dent's unexpired term?
Something is really weird when Lehigh Valley Democrats prefer "progressive" candidates 2 to 1 over a native son with huge blue collar cred. Has the Valley changed that much?

  3. This is why we should have ranked choice voting systems, like Maine adopted recently, for all our primary and general elections for important offices. Wild won, but only needed a third of the vote to do so.

    ReplyDelete
  4. The LV wants nothing to do with another Trump. Wild will get the support of Dems. Unlike O'Hare who is the kiss of death, rational democrats want to win in November. With Nothstein slurping up Trump, Wild can count on a strong turnout. O'Hare lives in the past and thinks he is some sort of political guru. He came up with a story so he could bash Wild an he is sticking to it.

Moranelli barely beat Edwards. Maybe just maybe people got tired of his running for every office that comes along. Morganelli is a decent guy but times have changed.

  5. The best Democrat was elected by the people. Get over it. The truth came out and won as much as you tried to obscure it.

  6. Susan Wild is a “progressive”.
    LOL!!!!!!!

  7. Morganelli is a nice enough guy and a good DA. But that's it. He has visions of grandeur that aren't shared by t he community. Edwards was the best D candidate.

  14. People are fed up with Morganelli seriously. If a spray youngin attorney takes him on next election he will be doing title searches along side you. He is a loser period. His time has been and he should retire like Dent. His bar room tan has taken it's toll.

  15. BO hates smart, strong, young independent women. His mancrush lost and he has manufactured some kooky story about Ms. Wild lying, so he can bash her for the next six months. That should tell you what he is about. Gen Snover helped Nothstein and he won. So instead of supporting a candidate to stand against Trump, he will help the Snover republican Trumpster.

    Shameful display of pettiness.

    1. ^^^^truth!! Bernie does NOT like strong women. They start out in his favor but when he cannot get anywhere with them he decides there is something wrong with them. That will never change.

Yay to Susan Wild! It is time for Mr. Morganelli to retire. He has worn out his days and has proven he is not right for any higher office.

  16. Morganelli lost the race because of his tweets to Trump and his Tea Party speech. Democrats voted against a Trump supporter and will do so again in November.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I voted for Edwards, but I'm ok with Wilds. No way Morganelli would have won in the general. Dems aren't coming out for an anti-choice Trump supporter.

    1. Same here...get used to it Bernie, Morganelli sunk his own ship by trying to suck up to Trump. Ultimately your biggest beef with Wild "lying about not attacking" was a non starter. This is politics and she played it well. She will win in November too. The enthusiasm gap in the vote totals is glaring.

  18. John’s Trump tweets finished him before he got started. He’s not the shrewdest political operator. It’s easy to win in NorCo. The big game is an actual contest. He gives the appearance of a guy who wants something bigger, desperately. He was never going to survive his purity test in a congressional race. This is the new politics. If you don’t like NY and LA determining federal representation, go ahead and ditch the Electoral College and watch fewer than a dozen counties in the country decide all races. I think Wild voters are good with that. And they are LV voters.

  20. Bernie - amazing to see all the progressives coming out of the weeds. Sorry to see Morganelli lose. Wild and Edwards getting over 50% of the vote signals local voters buying into getting everything for free is disappointing. Will hold my nose and vote for Nothstien although I think he will lose. Nice to see you at the voting precinct.

  21. So JM is what 0-3 in election other then DA? So next is what a Judge race? He won't win that either.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Ruggles' 2,400 in the Easton area was a key factor. No Ruggles, Morganelli probably wins. The strategy worked as planned.

    ReplyDelete
  23. It doesn’t matter. Wild wins easily, despite Bernie’s prognostication. Ds turned out 45K to Rs 31K. This won’t even be close. If Bernie predicts it, bet the other way.

  24. Bernie to sit in the corner of his Title company with a dunce cap today !

  25. Your totally right Bernie, major money from the outside doomed JM. The Pawlowski neophyte won despite all of the Pawlowski connections. Of course, Pawlowski won reelection despite 54-felony counts against him. He raised 90 million from political PAC's outside of the Lehigh Valley, trade unions and anything democrat. It is a horrendous state of affairs!

  29. Total nonsense running the play that outside money is the reason why Wild won. The registered deomcrats voted that live and work here period. Wild had the most votes. The she promised BS lost Morganelli votes Bernie.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Negative campaigning pays dividends. Morganelli went from a double digit pre-election lead to losing. You're right Bernie. Outside forces now control our local elections. Wild cannot win in November and no matter what she tells the Democrats, they will not unite for her to defeat Nothstine nor will they be able to raise enough money to make it a good race. She has far too much baggage. Democrats can kiss the new 7th Congressional District goodbye.

  33. Year of the woman. Morganelli is a gentleman who fought using Queensberry Rules and just found out how girls fight. They pull hair and scratch and claw and fight dirty. Charlie Dent knows this. It's why his campaigns were bare-fisted and brutal. Run hard or don't run.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Susan Wild's first piece of legislation will be for a full pardon for Palowski!

    ReplyDelete
  35. Keep drinking the Kool Aid. Wild won because she is a new face. People have grown tired of the same folks. Dent knew he wouldn't beat her and so did John but one chose to run and the other took a shot with other people's money. Congrats to the winner Susan Wild! Now on to November!

  36. I am a single mom and a feminist. I went out in the storm and voted even though the electric was out. I voted for John Morganelli. He is a very intelligent, personable man who sticks with his convictions. I wouldn't vote for Susan Wild if you paid me. Looks like I'll be voting for a Republican in November. Too bad.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thank goodness for all the outside money. I was a long time JM supporter and even donated to his campaigns. However, proving that you never really know someone, I like his strong law and order position but was turned off by his strong anti immigration stance. I still planned to vote for him. However his Trump tweets showed him to be much more of an opportunist than I had realized. It reminded me of the Clintons' situational ethics and that cost him my vote.

An expiration date should have been written on this statement.

I'm sure there will be some meeting over the next six months where Wild will look Bernie in they eye and convince him that she is the better candidate. Or that Nothstein is somehow the anti-Christ. Then we will see post after post of over-the-top support for Wild.

My guess is that this will happen sooner rather than later, since up until the last few months Wild's connections to Pawlowski and Fleck were long explained away on this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  45. 8:43 nailed it. Progressive candidates earned over 60% to Morganelli's 30%. This was not as close as it looks. Those 60% will be thrilled to see money from all over the country roll in behind Wild for the general. Ds are having their tea party. Progressives prevailed in something like 11 or 12 of 16 contested congressional primaries in PA. The party has coagulated on the hard left and there's no room in the tent for old school moderates like Morganelli.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I knew either Wild or Morganelli would win, therefore, I voted for Wild as an anti-Morganelli vote primarily for his Trump support, and secondarily for his abortion ideology and EXTREME Immigration stance.

  52. Let me just as you this BO straight up: Why does Morganelli keep losing EVERY. SINGLE. ELECTION. he runs in that isn't for NC DA? And if he was "the best Dem" why did the progressive candidates get 60% of the votes? Get past your personal affection for the guy, maybe you could see he's a flawed candidate. Get past your bias and maybe you could he isn't the "most electable" candidate in the race. Get past your personal politics and open your eyes to why 70% of voting Dems disagreed with you (hint: mostly has nothing to do with outside money, but Morganelli himself).

I didn't vote for him yesterday and, if he had won, I wouldn't have voted for him in the general election. I'd rather be represented by a crappy R than a crappy D that would be entrenched until he/she lost or stopped running. And I come to that conclusion not because of some mailer I tore up without reading, but from looking at the candidates and what they stood for. I voted for the one whom I though best represented my positions.

Most of his principles are what I recognize as Democratic. I also have high regard for Greg Edwards, who displayed the same decency and honor. 68. BO @ 11:25:

Who I am is not an issue as you allow ANON comments. Nice excuse to blow off an argument you don't want to address. But hey, I get it, you don't want to see things as they are, and that's your right. But stop the crap against ANONs - it's getting really old.

    ReplyDelete
  69. There's a fundamental problem with the politics of both parties right now. To win an election as a centrist, you have to start by spending the entire primary season pandering to the extreme voters on each side, since they are the ones who vote in primaries. You'll have to atone for any compromises you may have made in the past that actually accomplished something in government. Doing all this us also the only way to get the big money PAC's behind you - if you don't have the money, your opponent will run a smear campaign against you and distort your record even further.

Then, if you "sell your soul" to somehow accomplish all that and come out with a primary win, to have any chance of winning voters from the other side you just spent months alienating, you have to turn around and spend the entire general election season moving back to the middle and convincing people that 1) you are really are a centrist, and 2) that you weren't lying back in the primary when you took your far left or far right positions.

Bottom line...the only ones who can be elected to office now are either devoted left wingers or right wingers, or people who can lie effectively. There are more than enough of all three types in Washington, causing most of our problems. Until the system changes - possibly to Open Primaries, possibly to something else, the results are going to stay the same.

  80. Mr. Morganelli certainly isn't the first big-name politician in the Lehigh Valley to fall short in a congressional campaign. Jeanette Reibman and Roy Afflerbach both lost. Ken Smith and Joe Uliana didn't even make it past the primary.

It looks increasingly likely that there will be a huge anti-Republican current this November. It is rather unlikely that the GOP will be able to hold on to this seat in that environment.

If only Morganelli had run for Congress in 2006 or 2008. Those were horrible years for Republicans and he would have easily won the nomination against the weak candidates who had ran.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Any chance you would consider Marty Nothstein Bernie ?

    ReplyDelete
  82. Democrats nominated left wing candidates all over the place. In PA, they nominated two Socialist Party candidates. What’s happening is a continuation of the temper tantrum that started a year and a half ago. Giving any quarter to anything remotely Trumpian is cause for banishment. That certainly has been Bernie’s attitude, with the exception of Morganelli, whose transgression was weakly characterized as a poor attempt at humor. The Trump derangement fires have been vigorously stoked here. Morganelli was hit by friendly fire before he ever announced. It will be interesting to see if the more effective response to Trump was to moderate or double down on the left. The party has spoken. I think nominating progressives will prove disastrous in November. Morganelli would have gotten a lot of R votes and won easily. Now, the race is up for grabs. I’m not sure if a blue wave is coming. But a bluer wave has certainly washed over Ds. The minority party always does well in midterms. Something tells me Ds have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

  83. Edwards would be great on Allentown City Council, or is that too much like real, on-the-ground, authentic advocacy?

  84. as usual, your personal hatred takes over any possible rational thought process, which is why JM made a fatal mistake in using you as his dirty work dumpster diving puff piece writing errand boy. JM should have dropped you like a rock from the outset.

facts are Nothstein does not stand a chance in cold hell of pulling off a November win. At the mere request of many Rs to respond to some very damaging content on the internet that Ds will use with glee, he ran into a closet, slammed the door, and threatened to sue other Republicans. He ducked debates, refused to outline a single issue, banned conservatives off his FB page, then lied about his opponent.

He has no college degree, takes no position on any issue, except to extol the trump talking points without any other substantive explanation. He is funded and controlled by the biggest Trump hating Rs in the District. He is thin skinned and does not have the qualities to withstand a Dem beat down that will be hurled in his face, coming very quickly.

He will be eating his gold metal for breakfast in short order when the Ds expose all the "stuff" he has been trying to hide for months. Its a no brainer that Wild wins in November.

Bernie was the kiss of death for Edwards.

And "vicious"? C'mon. You are too old to say this was vicious. John Kerry was viciously attacked, not John Morganelli. The Trump stuff was real. The swift boating was a vicious lie. See the difference?

Almost 6 months to the election, anyone who thinks they know what will be important then is a fool, The candidates have to be on top of the issues as they evolve and will need to adjust accordingly. Nothstein will need to sharpen his attacks and be relentless, he will have plenty of ammo, if he chooses to use it. If Wild believes she can win by promising everyone free stuff and hating Trump she will lose.

  91. In fairness to Morganelli, he had a dumb campaign manager. The kid he used is a wannabe. This is the idea that if you say you are a political genius often enough people may believe you. Wild's team obviously took note of the comments that followed that link posting and used those tweets against him, as well as his Tea Party speech. It was less than a week later Wild's campaign was reminding Democrat voters through mailings of what JM tweeted and said to the Tea Party nuthouse. It became Wild's main talking point in every mailing that followed until Primary Day.
I have no doubt those tweets and his speech, all but forgotten until then, sealed his fate and turned the election for Wild.
His campaign workers weren't even prepared. One came to my door and asked if I would be supporting John Morganelli in the primary. I asked her to explain why a Democrat would want a job working for Trump, as indicated by his erased tweets that were recovered. "He wanted to give the President of The United States the benefit of the doubt," she said.
"Wanting to work for the SOB means John agreed with his campaign policies," I told her.
    JM didn't get my vote.

  101. ”Funny, I. could swear its the people of the LV who cast votes and whose votes were informed by mailers and commercials funded by outside sources. But WE made the decisions. WE decided that we did not want a candidate who sided with Donald Trump in the days when most Democrats were near suicidal. Trump was the kiss of death for Morganelli. Bernie was the kiss of death for Edwards.

And "vicious"? C'mon. You are too old to say this was vicious. John Kerry was viciously attacked, not John Morganelli. The Trump stuff was real. The swift boating was a vicious lie. See the difference? “

Of course, the people cast the votes. The same people who supported John at 50-51% before the outside $ came from voters in California. John saw that lead go away as the non local money came in to lie about him and distort his record. Also, I call a person who breaks her word and whose own cell phone refers to John as “vicious.” I consider the photoshop of John with a Trump hat to be “vicious.” It May not rise to the level of the seftboating of John Kerry, but was still vicious.

  102. Bernie did said monies leave the area destined for Cali and come back by fictitious LLC's from San metal and lost angels? This could be one in the same infection infecting the tri boro too!
By the way at voting machine was forced to vote R or other. This is a complicated gadgetry circus sideshow trick too.

Call me ignorant if you want to, but I didn't realize that JM was anti-choice until I got a flyer in my mailbox. So outside people made the citizens aware of his ultra conservative policies... where's the lie?

  108. Morganelli was easy on the Wild woman, it will most likely get real wild soon.

    ReplyDelete
  109. The best Dem did lose: Greg Edwards.

As it was, the next best Dem won. John Morganelli, a Republican cynically pretending to be a Dem just to maintain a strong Easton voting bloc, was rightfully smooshed. He can return to hating women, people of color, and the poor within his and Sal's fiefdom of downtown Easton. Hopefully this defeat is so disastrous to his fragile ego that he gives up public office altogether and just goes away like a good relic should.

It's about time the Democratic Party started representing Progressive values. Whether Trump-supporting frauds like Morganelli like it or not, the party is moving Left where it belongs. The centrist boomers out there clutching pearls can either hop on or move aside.

    ReplyDelete
  110. I want nothing to do with intolerant extremists on either side. You both have forgotten about ordinary people trying to get by.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Ah yes, crying about someone being "intolerant" because they stand against an avowed racist and sexist like Morganelli.

"Why won't these intolerant voters just support the guy who hates them :( "

    ReplyDelete
  112. What an idiot you are. Morganelli stood up for blacks being bullied and then getting arrested. He has hired more minorities than anyone else in NorCo. But bc you are an intolerant extremist, you label him.

    ReplyDelete
  113. "But bc you are an intolerant extremist, you label him."

    Pot, kettle.

That we've started electing actual Progressives is the only important thing, but it'd be a lie to say there isn't some delicious schadenfreude in watching your tantrum.

    ReplyDelete
  114. That's bc you're no progressive. You are an intolerant extremist.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I imagine for someone with none whatsoever, a display of actual convictions is very stunning.

Take a few deep breaths and brew some tea. John's not going anywhere. He'll continue to cosplay as a Democrat while supporting Trump and brutalizing everyone but rich white men, and you can continue to pretend that's totally fine. If anything, you should be happy: he'd have ditched this godforsaken valley and never looked back the moment November's election was over. In that single respect, I can't say I blame him.

    ReplyDelete
  116. There you go again. The only one cosplaying is you, who is pretending to be a progressive. You are actually full of hate.

  117. 8:03 AM is spot on John was too much a nice guy.Outside money also calls the shots on ads and mailers. You dont think they are gonna spend all that money and have a candidate choose the content. The big Pac's go for the throat. Charlies elections success was due to his bare fisted and brutal campaigns. The voting district change plus his party infighting brought an end to his service. Charlie is no light weight so why should he put up with all the bullshit. The Dems lost in 16 and women especially are pissed. So i guess you can say Susan ran hard and will take her courtroom manner to the general. As far as lying to john my guess is that she was speaking for herself and not her handlers.

  118. Oh no, someone who hates the wave of crypto-fascism currently spreading across the country like dandelion seeds. :(

I'm going to fight it by working/voting for Progressive candidates and values while you whinge about a lost center that has never existed. Let's see which strategy stops the Trumpenstaffel.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Excuse me, but you are the enemy. There is more crypto-fascism in phony progressives like you than in all but the most extreme right wing groups. Now go have some tea. Make sure it is herbal.

  124. "Progressive" is the euphemistic term for SOCIALIST. The far left is delusional enough to believe that adopting an archaic form of government is "progressive." It is regressive. It will end capitalism and a free economy as we know it. There will be no rewards for innovation and hard work. The evil Rich, who got there largely because of their toilet and talent, will be taxed to death to pay for free tuition for spoiled snowflakes, free healthcare that will result in rationed medicine, and free government jobs doing nothing. If Wild aligns herself with the new Democrat Socialist Party she will lose in November.

  125. ""Progressive" is the euphemistic term for SOCIALIST."
You say this like it's a bad thing.

    "It will end capitalism"
    One can only hope.

The DSA has proven in the last year that they can and will win where Republicans and establishment Dems alike derisively laugh them off as dumb young kids possessed by the ~spooooky~ specter of socialism.

By the way, triple-super-duper-lol at the thought that any significant percentage of America's 1% got there because of "toil and talent". I know you have to say this stuff, but come on. They're parasites. Democratic Socialism has made much of Europe and Scandinavia a paradise compared to America, and parroting that tired old rhetoric won't save Republicans forever. You guys need new material; ironic for a party composed mostly of septuagenarians.

    ReplyDelete
  126. For those of you who are dissatisfied with Ms Wild and how the Democratic Party has become the party of the Nancy Pelosis and Maxine Waters, please, at least consider joining us who support Nothsteim.

He is a fine candidate and believes in the same things you do, and its those beliefs that you share is why you supported Morganelli.

You can make a difference in November. Join us.

  127. "The evil Rich, who got there largely because of their toilet and talent"

Mostly an old wives tale told to the workers to stop them from ever stopping and saying wait a minute. The old Horatio Alger story was just that, a story. Most wealth comes with little toil and not so much talent as chutzpa. Yes maybe a toilet or two.

  128. Call me ignorant if you want to, but I didn't realize that JM was anti-choice until I got a flyer in my mailbox. So outside people made the citizens aware of his ultra conservative policies... where's the lie?

Precisely. BOH is upset that outside donations helped make local voters aware of JM's record. I assume he'd rather the voters be ignorant of the facts and vote blindly for a familiar name.

    ReplyDelete
  129. 1. JM did fight back. He and his outside money groups started blanketing the 7th with actual "vicious" mailers attacking with an accusatory tone Susan Wild. they all but accused her of crimes. What crimes did Wild accuse JM of? None. The GOP attacks were vicious and I expect them to continue. But if you're going to go on innuendo, you better have something to back it up.

2, JM didn't help himself for years with the progressive wing of the party. His yearly mailers bragging about the property he seized from drug dealers - property that left not only the drug dealer with nothing but his/her family. Is asset seizure proper? Perhaps in a time when criminal justice reform wasn't a forefront issue.

  130. @ Trumpster 11:44pm: NO WAY. Susan Wild voters will be out in force to pummel that wannabe-Trump, Nothsteim. The only reason he beat Browning is because is because Browning didn't hide his love, lust and devotion for Trump.

WE ARE FED UP WITH TRUMP AND HIS ANIMALISTIC DEFENDERS AND SUPPORTERS!

    ReplyDelete
  131. "So outside people made the citizens aware of his ultra conservative policies... where's the lie?"

The lie is that his positions were distorted and there were outright lies about it. John supported the complete funding of Planned Parenthood, but the mailers lied and said he did not. John opposes abortion, but supports Roe v. Wade.

    ReplyDelete
  132. "JM did fight back. He and his outside money groups started blanketing the 7th with ... "

Like Susan Wild, you are being dishonest. The only attack John would approve is one that points out what Wild really does for a living. Also, he had no meeting with NoLabels, or the United together PAC. Their attacks were completely uncoordinated. Wild's attacks were. She actually had a publicized meeting with Emily's List and NARAL. I believe the feds should look into this illegal coordination.

  134. Remember election night when Morganelli rented a large convention room and spoke from a stage and podium while Wild was at a bar? That about sums it up. I was looking for BOH in that sad, overly large room.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Morganelli is a good man and a centrist. He would have garnered a ton of Republican crossover votes and won handily in the Fall. Unfortunately theres no room for centrists anymore which is why Charlie bowed out. I am a middle of the road Republican and didnt vote for either of the two clowns on my side of the ticket. I was very excited at the thought of voting for my first D at the federal level this fall...but that definitely aint happening now. Oh well, let the polarization continue. Bummer.

  136. Morganelli tried to saddle Susan with Pawloski misdeeds. So unfair and unsupported. She did her job. Period. You’ve shown yourself to be so biased, it’s despicable. Morganelli suggested in his concession speech that he lost because it was “the year of the woman.” Maybe that’s why he lost. When will you stupid white men realize that you no longer run the world?

I announced at the beginning if this race that I would be supporting John, whom I have known forever. It's bias, and I freely admit it. But I did my best to remain honest. You have not. Just now, you accuse John of attempting to tie her to Fed Ed. Show me one flyer that he paid for in which he did that. You can't because he refused to do that. The only negative from him was that Wild was never a lawyer for ordinary people, but instead represented insurance companies, drug companies and hospitals. She was attacked over Fed Ed, but John had nothing to do with it and condemned it. You have dishonestly attacked Morganelli. Also, your "old white men" remark reveals your own bias.

Sue Wild got more votes than John, but it is no great victory, and she will be destroyed in the Fall. John may vote for her bc he is a classy guy, despite what you say. After his gracious concession, I find your ugliness appalling.

I can tell you I will never vote for her. But I have no class.

  138. I was there and the place was packed. I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make except to prove that you are an asshole.

Overconfidence. Arrogance. Wild settling in at Louie's being the opposite.

    ReplyDelete
  139. You just again proved that you are an asshole. First, you suggest that the place was empty. Ween I counter, you suggest everyone was overconfident. You are quite a petty person. It is common for that room to be rented out on election night. People usually like to have a place to gather. I usually skip these events, but went to this one precisely bc I was not overconfident and thought John might lose after seeing the returns in Hanover.

  140. The first bit of true news about Nothstein just came out. Toxic work encironment, racist, vindictive, SOB. Just wait till we start learning about the rest of what's been hidden for years. Sexual misconduct, financial misconduct, how he doped as a cyclist, and on and on and on.

Anyone ever see his wife campaigning for him? Of course not. She can't stand him and it's an open secret at the velodrome that he has a side piece. Nothstein will go down in a dumpster fire of flames this fall. Wilds can just sit back and watch. That is, of course, unless it all happens so fast that he gets replaced on the ballot.

    ReplyDelete
  141. On TV, the room was empty. And its common to rent a room that big when you are confident you will win - like Hillary and the fireworks. Meanwhile, corporate attorney Wild was in a local bar with a smattering of supporters.

  143. 2:54, you have argued alternatively that no one was there and that the room was full of overconfident and arrogant people. You are a petty person who will condemn both scenarios. Wild is a shill for insurance companies,. That is simply fact. I am sure that point will be driven home soon. Get ready. You put up the worst possible candidate and now have to accuse Nothstein of doping.
