Greg Edwards Feels the Bern

The Morning Call reports that LV Congressional candidate Greg Edwards has received Bernie Sanders' endorsement. Congrats to Rev. Edwards, who really does represent the liberal wing of the Democratic party.

  1. "Liberal wing"? That is the entire Democrat bird, not just the wing.

Would this be the party that Wall St.showered $$$$$$$$$$$ on last presidential race?
Clinton and the current Clinton Democrats ARE the party of establishment big business and big bank and big pharma interests.
How about more fact and less fiction?

  3. Annon 12:17, as the party of Trump and the "good people" that are Nazis and white Nationalists, you have very little room to attack anyone. Anything left of that is just rational.

  4. The Dems have evolved to an identity politics, giveaway socialist party. They are obstructionists at the national level with hatred for Trump and his supporters that has become an obsession. Nothing positive comes out of their mouths. They used to be patriotic citizens. Now they are just bitter losers who hate half the country. Like the last poster.

  5. Rev. Edwards is a life long community activist who was nowhere to be seen around the Lehigh Valley until recently.
He has a great ground game in Allentown but was MIA when Pawlowski was destroying lives and taking the City into the sewer.
The guy is a show horse, not a work horse.
He should pursue a career in the theater.
    People are fools.

You must not be from Allentown. Rev. Edwards has been the driving force and at the forefront of community activism for over 25 years. He has been supporting the community in ways that the government never has.

    Do tell?
What has he done as a public “activist” in Allentown?
This third generation Allentonian would like to know.

  8. Jesus loves Ed Pawlowski also.
    So what?

  9. 10:11, i first saw Edwards a few years ago. He was at the center of a study that found all kinds of flaws with the way we educate our children in the LV. He also had all kinds of information on poverty, housing and employment. He has also been highly critical of ASD, and quite vocal about it. The fact that you do not know him is a reflection of your own ignorance, not his.

  10. “.....a few years ago.”
    Right.
    That’s my recollection also,
    a couple of years.
    We’re on the same page.

  11. anon 8:40 that is a lot of hate for someone complaining about hate. The Democrats are for healthcare for all, saving social security and responsible foreign policy. Protecting the environment. Inspected food and clean water. You know all that socialist stuff.

If you feel the democrats are not pretending it is q950 you are right.

As to hate, you may want to refresh yourself with all the things your Faux news said about Obama. You remember him right, the black guy that drive you all crazy.

  15. Anon 6:12, we did not hate Obama. We disagreed with his politics, including the failed ACA. You lefties absolutely DESPISE Trump and his supporters. You hate conservatives because we believe in smaller government, limited government handouts, and personal responsibility. Not victim politics like the majority of Dems. You are the party of handouts and lawsuits. You control the media and it's bias. We have Fox News. You have every network news plus MSNBC and CNN. You control the message. But your only message is hatred of all things Trump. You give him no credit for a booming economy, defeating ISIS, the tax cuts that put real money in the pockets of the middle class, and now on the verge of peace with North Korea. Hatred is the Dems only fuel. It will not endear them to moderates and independents in November.

  16. Reverend? No thanks. "God is concept by which we measure our pain."

Edwards seems like a great person despite his heavy reliance on the metaphysical. That said, I don't see anything that gives him credibility in the statement that he "found all kinds of flaws with the way we educate our children in the LV". Thats what educators need, a Reverend to tell them they're doing it wrong.

  18. He has a PhD in education, so he is better educated than I on this topic.

  19. Susan's supporters literally troll the internet for a chance to interject some false statement about any of the other candidates because their candidate can't stand on her merits alone.
