He's Baaaaack

Miked Fleck, who never was called as a witness in the political corruption case against Allentown Mayor Edwin "Fed Ed" Pawlowski, is back in the area. He reportedly spent the past few years in Georgia and Texas. He will be sentenced May 10.

  1. This was predictable. The guys ego wrote checks neither his intellect or ability could cash!

  2. It's unfortunate he can't trade testimony against Ed's fellow travelers in City Hall. Maybe we can get rid of a few more of the Mob that has run Allentown for the past decade as well.

Ed didn't do it all alone, there was a family of crooks and thieves which allowed him to turn his policies into practice. Fleck could be the canary and sing, and walk after ratting them all out.

  3. What will he change his name to?

  4. Great to have the FLECKSTA back in the area maybe we will run into each other again at the glorious Sands Poker room where the gravel voiced lounge singer preys upon weak donkeys like a young Doyle Brunson.

He would probably love to play in the juicy Morganelli/Booby D game but that is a closed one which even the uber magnanimous manslab cannot gain entry.

  5. Where was he spotted? Surely, he doesn't have the balls to show up at the Federal Courthouse. Well, on second thought...

  7. The game that sal is referring to is the one everyone loves, it is the only game were everyone wins by losing.

  8. First Jim Gregory, now Mike Fleck. Note to aspiring politicos: karaoke videos always portend doom.

  9. Emily Opilo recently posted this quote on her twitter feed quoting Prosecutor Morgan:

Morgan says this isn't a popularity contest. "You may not like Sam Ruchlewicz. You may think they are repugnant. This is who HE hired, this is who HE wanted to run his campaign, this is who He chose as his best friend."

First, I thought Mike Fleck was "the best friend", but more importantly, why or why didn't the prosecution or the defense call him as a witness? Was he really that toxic to either side?

  11. The Goverment ended it’s summation with a resounding slam-dunk by Federal Atty. Morgan.

  12. The prosecution left NO DOUBT that Pawlowski and the Flectster were BFFs.
    None.
    Absolutely none.

  13. The mayor only needs one juror.

  14. Fleck may have worn a wire but he is still going to jail. It is not like he will walk free. The bum will serve some time. He will then sing for the cell block.

  15. Fleck will spend a long time in prison for not cooperating but I have no doubt his family will be well provided for while he's serving his term.
