Is this "4baggerplus?" |
One of my more astute readers has alerted me that today is National Popcorn Day! We could celebrate at the NorCo courthouse with Amy Trapp's $800 popcorn machine, but alas, it's been sold. According to Public Surplus, there were 22 bids for the county popper, which was finally awarded to "4baggerplus!" on January 16 for $560.
For some reason, Executive Lamont McClure failed to inform Council about this dramatic event at last night's Council meeting. Thank God for bloggers!
I understand that McClure has also issued an Executive Order declaring former HR Director Amy Trapp an Honorary Northampton County Kernel.
Is this "4baggerplus?"
ReplyDeleteNo. That's Jules Winnfield his image has been used to give a face to "the tyranny of evil men".
You can be sure that when it comes to government waste and abuse, and those who profit from it, except for the suit and tie, they look nothing like Jules.
From here on out, the Northampton county pork should be referred to as popcorn.
BOK, thinks life will be butter at the County now that the popcorn machine has been sold. Time will tell. However, these posts about popcorn are sure corny.
ReplyDeleteThe popcorn machine is a metaphor for irresponsible spending like the human services monument. It should be placed under glass in the lobby and named after Glennnn Reibmannn, who’s bills we're still paying. No wonder he can’t find a government job. Oh wait .....
ReplyDeleteBernie, would that kernel be a piece that is the make-up of Mr. hidey hoes eyes or things to be flushed and not examine by the naked eye before flushing?
ReplyDeleteInteresting how everyone has a comment about the popcorn machine..if you are reading this blog...then you know who is replying now? It will be put to good use...by the people..for the people..
