You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Karen means well, but she's a little nuts (being verbally and physically abused by Karen Beyer, who she worked for and whom you defended at the time will do that). Bernie, she is a private citizen who lives in Arizona and takes care of her special needs brother. Take down this post. She's not a public figure.

My complaint is his selective criticism of those who comment on his blog He has no issue with anonymous commenters who agree with his point of view, but those who disagree are often called cowards. Furthermore, recently he has taken to identifying opposing comments from those that he is criticizing. He recently labeled comments defending Justin Simmons as coming from Justin. The reason I answer all the pro-Justin comments as though they are coming from him is because I have learned, in numerous other posts about Justin Simmons, that it is the only way that he and his dad and his other myrmidons will stop posting vicious attacks. I have had to shut down the comments feature on at least ten blogs about Justin Simmons in his previous races, often posted many days after the post was written. As for the comments on my blog, how would Scott Armstrong know how many come from me if he does not read them, as he pretends? Today's blog about Simmons has generated 47 comments, and 12 are from me. The remainder are from others. I will comment on my blog because a blog is at its best when it is interactive, i.e. a two-way street. I relish the opportunity to show the Trump cult just how foolish they are. I do not subscribe to Michael Molovinsky's view that he is some Delphi Oracle who refuses to dirty himself talking to the unwashed masses. If that is how he wants to run his blog, that's up to him. But he is not going to tell me how to run mine.”

You shut down comments on a blog you wrote about Dent/Simmons or just Simmons, I can't recall... when there were only about 8 or 9 comments and half of them were from YOU! If you can't handle opposing views... STOP FN BLOGGING... OR BLOG AND DON'T BE INTERACTIVE IF YOU CAN'T RESPECT OPPOSING OPINIONS. And, get your head out of Dent's ass!”

“You don't offer opposing opinions.You offer hate. Starting last election cycle, I had to shut down numerous stories about Simmons because of that hate, which sometimes continued as long as 11 days after my original story. After being forced to close comments yet again in my first story about the congressional race, and after deleting several disgusting remarks, i decided to treat every pro-Simmons comment as though it has come from him. Problem solved. I am not going to allow you or anyone to come on my blog and post hate or tell people to get their head out of Dent's ass. Not gonna' happen.”
