Why Bethlehem's Proposed LERTA is a Bad Idea

You can read why in today's Bethlehem Press.

  1. The fact that the BASD and Moravian College are working with the City to promote LERTA and the facade grants should help in Bethlehem. They have created the NorthSide Vision 2027, which is modeled off the successful SouthSide Vision 2014 group. The group will apply for state and federal grants and solicit private corporate donors to make public improvements to these area. I recall several banks being involved in the SouthSide Vision group, helping to improve and build parks and improve street lighting and sidewalks.

I am not sure Easton had any community partners involved like they will in Bethlehem.
