You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.

ReplyDeleteLamont will be talking about the vacancies I am sure. John Brown has filled his administration with cronies and decided to ignore important positions that provide core county functions while bringing in people with little to no experience elsewhere.
ReplyDeleteThe most vulnerable of Northampton County's citizens are in danger each day John Brown does not fill these positions while he rewards friends and political allies with no-show jobs.

ReplyDeleteWhat needs to be told is that there are quality staffed in NorCo to take over Admininstrative positions such as the one for MH/EI/DP. The internal candidates for the position years ago never got an interview. Interesting!
ReplyDeleteThere are not enough workers as the County does not take care of their own. They have little to no value for workers that care, knowledgable, and diligent.
Inusrance and fringe benefits have been cut and now so has the compensation rate for the pension. Salaries are no longer in line with neighboring counties and some staff there has not seen raises in several years.
Plain and simply, NorCO is no longer the great glam civil service position it was years ago.
Ha! No one showed to his "news conference" yea, he's the next county executive. Nobody cares what he has to say...
