Lehigh Among Top Ten Party Schools in US

According to Princeton Review's annual rating, Lehigh University is the #9 party school in the country. Although this is an improvement over its #4 rating last year, it is still somewhat of a surprise to see that much larger schools failed to even make the top 20.

The determination is made on the basis of data based on the data obtained from surveys of 137,000 students at 382 schools.

The Brown and White notes that Lehigh has 18 fraternities and 12 sororities. Four students were hospitalized last ear as a result of excessive drinking.

The Top Ten are as follows: 1) Tulane University; 2) West Virginia University; 3) Bucknell University: 4) Syracuse University; 5) University of Wisconsin-Madison; 6) University of Delaware; 7) University of Colorado-Boulder; 8) Colgate University; 9) Lehigh University; and 10) University of Maine.

  1. As long as there are High School girls in the Lehigh Valley to impress, Lehigh will be a party school.

  2. Note that Bucknell has replaced Lehigh in the Top 3 position as a result of Lehigh forcing their students to party at off campus housing in neighborhoods instead of its on-campus fraternities. Shameful that Lehigh has lost its position at the Top of the list just like its Engineering school rankings have dropped below Bucknell.

  3. As I am sure you know better than most, you can never count Lehigh out.

  4. 3:32 got it! Back in the day before statutory rape was prosecuted as hard and no social media was everywhere that was the deal. Lehigh was well known to troll high schools before parties. The pickings were good and the low hanging fruit was easy. The girls were impressed to go to A Lehigh party.

  5. I once funneled a whole quart of beer into my rectum at a Lehigh Frat party while being vigorously cheered on by the throng of people assembled around me in that musty smokey basement.

  6. Lehigh has been a top 10 party school for a long time. Full disclosure - class of 75. Back then there were 31 fraternities and no sororities. By the time I graduated, I could not even stand the smell of beer.

  7. It obviously is doing something right to have so many distinguished grads.

  10. I graduated from Brigham Young University, yet again the #1Stone Cold Sober school. Great place to get an education, and we had lots of fun without alcohol or drugs.
