Christie's Final FU to NJ

Amid a statewide government shutdown that closed state-owned beaches to the public, NJ Governor Chris Christie was caught - flipflops and all - as he and his family relaxed at the very beaches he had closed. He's selfish, vindictive and unapologetic.

As explained in The Washington Post,
Christie used to take a 55-foot-long State Police helicopter to his son’s baseball games. He was asked to give the keynote address at the 2012 Republican National Convention but uttered only a few words about the party’s standard-bearer, Mitt Romney. Christie’s taste for luxury travel has been funded by foreign leaders and a casino magnate. And his time in the owner’s box cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys sparked a flurry of ethics questions.
I'm sure Trump will find a spot for him.

  1. He looked like a beached whale in that photo. The man has no shame. His political career is over. Trump had enough sense to dump Christie's lard ass off the transition team. No refuge for him there.

  2. Christie was a jerk when he first became an elected official. Nothing has changed on his way out the door. He represents all the stereotypes of New Jersey

  3. I hope his skin got burned with this stunt.

  4. My NJ friends who loved Christie back when he was bashing teachers are the same people who raved about Trump last year. You can fool most of the people most of the time.

  5. Not to mention Bridge gate! The liar knew about it all along! How quickly some forget!!!!!! Good riddance!!!

  6. I always admired his style up until he dropped out of the race for President and starting sucking up to Trump. This is an abomination, there is no way I would ever pull an arrogant, pompous, conceded stunt like this. Christie is an ass and I hope his public career is over.

  7. And lets not forget his "I aint him" reference to Corzine and the possibility that essential state workers shouldn't count on back pay for reporting to work during the shut down. What a jerk, treating state employees like bad guys will surely cause morale issues, what is his problem?

  8. Who cares? He's not running for anything. The photos were certainly funny. But there are more serious issues to discuss/resolve.

  9. I wouldn't be too sure about Christie having a place in the Trump Administration...as NY Attorney General, he put Jared Kushner's dad in jail.

Trump? He's more Obama's guy than anyone else.

Who can forget their walk on the beach in 2012 that helped get Obama re-elected? And wasn't it Obama's Justice Department that gave Christie a pass on Bridge-gate?

If you want to tie him to a president, at least tie him to the right one.

  11. I have. He has been tied closely to Trump.

  12. Trump haters will believe what they want. Trump dumped Krispy Kreme during the transition as he had much baggage associated with him.

  13. Mayor Ed is going to look like this after about 18 months of prison food.

  14. Let's talk about all of the luxury vacations that the Obama's have enjoyed and still enjoy on the taxpayer's dime. Look at the facts! Trump did dump the Krispy Kreme!

  15. Notice the attempt to change subjects. Here are some facts. Trump appointed Christie to head his fight against the opioid epidemic. Christie backers are finding jobs with Trump. Christie has been one of Trump's most strident defenders. Trump's FBI pick was Christie's personal lawyer.

It is true Kushner hates Christie, but Trump will eventually tap him bc he is going through people fast.

  16. Christie had nothing to lose so acting the way he did just shows his underlying character.
the best hope Christie can wish for is to wait and see how many "foreign agents" are really working for mr trump.
after those people fall on their swords for trumpie then Christie can move in.
say it turns out Sessions has more ties to Russia then reported so far.
that would open up the Attorney General position.
or trumpie gets booted for ties to say any of thee shady characters he likes to "pal around with".
that means Pence needs to clean up the mess and Christie can claim he is just what is needed.

  17. Christie is a first class douchebag. But he was more closely tied to Obama. He's been rolling around after Trump for two years begging unsuccessfully for a job. He was run out of the transition team in embarrassing fashion. Before that, he was last seen down the shore at Seaside Heights having a tender moment with Barry on the beach. Who can forget that tender moment after Sandy, when Christie attempted to calm the heaving of his pendulous moobs while Barry wiped his tears and promised him free shit? Bernie, the guy who predicted such stunning electoral triumphs as John Callahan and Hillary Clinton, appears to have this political spaghetti completely sorted out. Great post.

  18. I predicted a Callahan win. I voted for Clinton and thought she would win, but don't recall making such a prediction. The facts are what they are. Christie is a Trump bitch and governs just like him - poorly.

  19. Bernie, I love how the Trumpeters switch the topic to Obama. The guy is gone and their hatred is so intense that is all they can think about. I feel sorry for these lunatics families.

    Ties to Russia, right.
