You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Would it be a bad thing if Trump took PA Bernie ?
ReplyDeletePA is not in play for Trump. No way. No how. Never was. It's about handouts. PA has more takers voting than contributors. Romney's 47% is closer to 55% in PA. They're never voting for a Republican, let alone Trump.
ReplyDeleteTrump Will Take Pennsylvania! Haven't seen a Hillary sign anywhere ! Trump signs all over the place ! Trump2016
ReplyDeletePA certainly is favoring Trump. No one I know is voting for Clinton. How can any self-respecting American vote for a candidate that is presently under a criminal investigation by the FBI, in not just one, but at least two investigations ?
ReplyDeleteBillery for jail
ReplyDeleteSigns don't vote. Just because you put 10 Trump signs up on your property, or blanket a lot of street corners with them, doesn't mean you delivered any more Trump votes than your own 1 vote. And if you are one of those old, angry white males with "issues" about women and minorities taking power away from you (power you never had anyway) know this: your wife and daughters are probably going to vote for Clinton. They just won't tell you they did. You know where there are not a lot of Trump signs, if any? Oh, places like Philly and the inner suburbs. You know, where the VOTES are? So have fun with you silly comments about signs and your childish and tired repetition of all the anti-Hillary bile you, and the only people you talk to, have been consuming and spewing for this whole campaign. Hillary wins and your man child candidate loses. Repeat after me: President Hillary Clinton. Get used to it.
ReplyDeleteHere you go guys. For those of you who can read, take your little blue pill and read this: http://www.damemagazine.com/2016/11/01/why-i-have-no-sympathy-angry-white-men

what crime has the candidate been charged with?
trump's shady dealing thru his trump foundation are ongoing so no results yet.
the trump university scam is still being worked on.
so no need to jump the gun on trump's sins.
i don't know a single person voting for the criminal Hillary! Clinton's are liars, cheats and thieves they would sell their soul's for the love of money Trump 2016!
ReplyDeleteI say drain the swamp in Washington! Vote Trump/Pence
ReplyDelete"For those of you who can read" --- Why do you obviously hate men so much, 7:37? Please, tell us more. Don't keep all that uncontrolled anger pent up inside. Go ahead, let it all out. You have nothing to fear but fear itself.
ReplyDeleteEight more years of the super awesome wonderful Clinton family. They care so much, they do so much for the "little guy". What a blessed country we are so fortunate to be able to live freely in.

ReplyDeleteperhaps you have a small number of friends?
or your friends just are not telling you the truth.
the election will give the answer as to whether the donald gets to cry in his beer or not.
Because people are unable to comment like grown ups, I am requiring readers to ID themselves before commenting today. .
ReplyDelete<-- Old white guy proudly voting for Hillary Rodham Clinton.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that the air has been let out of the Clinton bag, and it's about time as well. Could never understand why all I see are Trump/Pence signs but we're told that Clinton has this overwhelming lead, this election has already been decided, speculation on who will be in Clinton's cabinet and so much other blather by the press.
ReplyDeleteIt's the last week of the election and people in states who voted early want to go back and change their votes; her polls are sinking faster than a rock and the Democrats are going into hyperventilation mode. Heard Hillary giving a speech in Fort Lauderdale yesterday and she sounded desperate, 60 minutes of telling us the same old same old of how Trump is so bad, he's a womanizer, etc, etc, etc, but nothing about how she's going to make our country prosperous again.
People have seen what Hillary Clinton is, and we aren't buying it.
Too bad the polls bounced back stronger than before the manufactured email scandal by partisan FBI director Comey. Only an act of God can reverse what we already know. HRC will be the first female and next POTUS
DeleteI thought most of the poles in philly are within walking distance of where they live. this should be no problem at all
ReplyDeleteDave - You are delusional. First of all, signs are a bygone era. Hillary Clinton's office CHARGED for signs. Its just not something they care about. People with the Trump signs, however, will forever be branded we condoning a racist, misogynistic, draft-dodging tax cheat who belittles our military and our great country.
ReplyDeleteHRC is a landslide. Don't be stupid and wake up surprised like 2012.
Just a few thoughts, since you're allowing, at least civil ones, today Bernie ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's clear that the public is on to the Democratic rigging of the polls. The media has never been so one-sided in how the election is being reported. Just this morning I picked up a magazine while at my doctor's office. People magazine has this several page article about Trump in it. Where is the article to balance this out about Hillary and all of the revelations that are coming out from the Wikileaks documents?
A vote for Hillary is a vote for Tim Kaine. If Hillary wins the election next week, this would be about the same as the re-election of Richard Nixon in 1972. The revelations about the Watergate break-in hounded Nixon throughout his second term, and by 1974 he was impeached by the House of Representatives.
You can guarantee that the House will eventually pass articles of impeachment against Hillary Clinton. One will likely be for perjury, as she signed documents that she turned over all work-related emails to the State Department on orders from a federal judge, under penalty of perjury.
Another wil be obstruction of justice for destroying subpoenaed evidence
Bribery I suspect will be another issue she will be impeached on, as well as Influence Peddling
Then there is Racketeering, the illegal use of a non-profit organization, fraud and likely several tax charges that revolve around the Clinton Foundation.
There is simply no way we can have a part-time president for that short time before she is impeached, then tried and convicted in the Senate. That will remove her from office and make Tim Kaine president.
Be careful what you wish for Democrats, because you're going to get it.
This is why the Republican party seems to be disintegrating before our eyes. You guys are kinda crazy. Is is truly just racism and sexism? The lack of focus on real issues, the obsession with things like abortion etc, and really white anger is destroying the party. Democrats will probably hold the White House for twenty more years. The Republicans look like they are going out the the Whig patty of the nineteenth century.

DeleteHere Here, great idea Bernie identify yourself!! I don't know, I think the strike will be over this weekend -- By Tuesday, the SEPTA strike will be a memory cause let's face it, we all live in a world where yesterday's news can be drudged up by Wiki Leaks

ReplyDeleteHuma Abedin a will flip Hillery shortly. She will say her laptop was her 'live insurance 'if she was found dead like over 30 other people connected to her boss. Weiner is trying to get his case abated with what he knows too. You saw it here first on Bernie's blog. Peter J.Cochran
ReplyDeleteRight Jamie, France 24 was reporting TRUMP making headway and the 3 networks in the USA were suppressing it. Peter J.Cochran
ReplyDeleteReputable journalists are wary of using illegally obtained documents sourced by Russian espionage to take down a US election - especially since Wikileaks has chosen sides. Imagine what we'd find in the RNC email!
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt in my mind that the Tea Party house will impeach Hillary Clinton. Luckily, the US Senate will be majority controlled by Democrats and the House will be made to look like fools. Remember when the House impeached the first President Clinton on perjury charges arising from lying about an affair? The judges in that case are a disgrace - Dennis Hastert in jail for child rape and Bob Livingston resigned for an extramarital affair.
Reputable jornalists are like Jumbo Shrimp Mr Muffely. All one has to do is look at the coverage by "reputable journalists" during this current election cycle to see just how "reputable" many are.
ReplyDeleteSure, if you are part of the Trump reality vortex where the media is evil, our military is a disaster, and our generals are horrible.
ReplyDeleteI disagree with a lot of what Clinton has done, and will do... however, Trump is unfit to even work at a hot dog stand much less as the most powerful person int he world.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you say there, 2:58. I just hope Monica Lewinsky gets her old job back. That's all.
ReplyDeletePolitical machines in Phila and Pittsburg will carry the State for Clinton. Subs don't have a chance.
ReplyDeleteI think the poles are lope sided survey of 1333 people each in many cases .Who does the caller get during a WORK DAY .I say Trump is going to pound her into the ground. Now this is my opionion ,but lots of my contacts are on SS and their premiumes have raised 3 times during Oboma care they are feed up . They resent paying for deadbeats and people who just let themselves get fat and smoke and are Type 11 s because they are lazy. Hillery is another issue, a liar and may soon be indictable. This is not an endorsement of Trump but what I see happening.
ReplyDeleteSeems like most of you folks are closeted bigots. It's a shame. Any human being with a brain knows Donald Trump is not President material, no matter who his opponent is. He is irrational, inexperienced, and I'll tempered, besides the fact that he is a racist and misogynist. It's sad that he is even the nominee. You Republicans created the Trump monster. In all truth, this may be the last Republican candidate ever. The party looks to be headed towards a schism. Donald Trump will find a way to make money off his loss and the destruction of the party. The supreme Court will lean far left, ( which as liberal myself still scares me, the court should be balanced). And above all else war with Russia is looming. A war time President Clinton kicking Russian ass would be incredibly difficult to defeat and should the war be protracted, Tim Kaine would be in prime position to succeed her. But honestly Donald Trump didn't screw the Republican party, it's own voters did.
