Brown Releases 2017 Budget - No Tax Hike

NorCo Exec John Brown has just released his proposed budget for next year. It's a $379 spending plan that holds the line on a tax hike. I'll have a detailed analysis on Monday.

  1. Did you get a PDF, or in print? I looked on the NorCo website, and couldn't find a link. Thanks.

  2. It's Brow's typical way of doing things. Friday. After hours. Yes, I have a pdf, and will load it over the weekend if he fails to put it on the county's web site.

  3. They delivered the, to council members houses at 7pm Friday night. Had the sheriffs office play post office.

  4. I received a copy at 4:52 pm via email. Perhaps it was hand-delivered and emailed. I don't like seeing the Sheriff's office used as errand boys. They have more important things to do.

  5. Probably one of your spies in the courthouse.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
