Ok I'm lost now
ReplyDeleteWho's corvette is this ?
Its a nice ride
ReplyDeleteJamie, His Eminence is the term I use when referring to Ron Angle, Sludge Baron, Cigar aficionado and a SeanchaĆ who puts all Irishmen to shame.
ReplyDeleteKen, It is without doubt a badass car. You'd love it.
Isn't he referred to as the King of Shit?
ReplyDeleteDid the car smell bad?
Not at all. That green body is not fiberglass, by the way.
ReplyDeleteAll corvettes are fiberglass.
ReplyDeleteBernie what year is it. It looks like a 64?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a 1967 Stingray convertible to me. But i am just guessing
ReplyDeleteDamn, you're good. You got it on the first try. It is a '67, and I believe there are just 14,000 miles.
ReplyDeleteAnother example of how Ron doesn't care about Mother Earth, conspicuous consumption by way of antique smog belcher.
ReplyDeleteBlue Badger
He has the Corvette setup to belch out cigar smoke now and then, too.
ReplyDeleteJust showing off. I'm curious if he gets away without paying for his gas like he used to do in his younger days at Reagle Dodge.
ReplyDeleteHaters gonna' hate. Are you still mad over the time he diddled your wife? That was so long ago. Besides, she's your sister.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great car. Let it belch all the smog it wants. I would have it in my garage any day!
ReplyDeleteThe Second Generation Corvette (C2) had a short, but glorious run, beginning with the classic split-window Stingray Coupe in 1963. GM loaded the 'Vette with horsepower to match its aggressive look.
ReplyDeleteAh, the glory days of American muscle cars!
Modern American muscle cars put the old ones to shame. Styling is unfortunately global; however, actual horsepower is up. Also new suspensions are better suited to handle the power with turning and braking systems better than ever.
ReplyDeleteCarman!
There are no modern American muscle cars. Corvette owners wave to each other they know something others dont. Give me a Vette any year any day
Delete"There are no modern American muscle cars"
ReplyDeleteDodge Challenger Hellcat with over 700HP, to name just one. Look, rose colored glasses are great and I enjoy a nice oldies cruise night with my car but time to smell the coffee and the new era of American muscle cars can out power, out maneuver and out brake any of the old stuff.
Styling may not be as good but mechanically the modern muscle is light years ahead of what we had.
By the way if Angles vette is as nice all around as the ass end looks, he had to drop at least 50K, depending on powertrain to get that thing.
Yes, the Dodge Challenger is awesome. That Vette is nice all the way around and is worth at least $50k. But over the weekend, I was speaking to some guys who have Teslas. The new electric car goes 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. Imagine that!
ReplyDeleteTesla is s great car
