Traub Unanimously Re-Appointed to NIZ Board
Traub himself was not present.
Council also appointed two other persons to the NIZ Board.
John I Williams, President of Muhlenberg College, and Tiffany Polek, Principal at Mosser Elementary, were also appointed.
In her application, Polek stated she would be "an advocate for our families and our residents. My education background would hopefully add value to the Board."
Williams stated he'd be there "to foster economic development."

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
No need to attend City Council meetings until the FBI moves things along.
ReplyDeleteHave you all watched the uncut interview with Pawlowski's attorney?
He mentions that Haddad did not give money to Pawlowski. He makes several mistakes when he speaks. Blame Fleck. I don't think it is going to be that simple.
LOL. Imagine Fleck being the mastermind directing Strathearn, Wiles and Koval.
Is "whatnot" a legal term?
Allentown City Council continues to approve ordinances and bills from Pawlowski's office. These appointments all come from the administration. Pawlowski's lawyer has some harsh words to say about Allentown City Council. Check around 36 minutes into the interview.
ReplyDeleteWho would question Traub's reappointment? What would they question? What has ANIZDA really done and who really directed them to do what they did?
Same goes for the Allentown Parking Authority. Do we really think that the people that sit on the board really make the decisions? City Council loves to remind us that they have no authority over these Authorities. They still have no problem approving all of the Mayor's appointments.
Rich, I havewatched the entire video and will post it and my own comments at the witching hour.
ReplyDeletei like that they have appointed williams of muhlenberg college to the board, he's been in the area about ten minutes. meanwhile, after a decade of advocating for the park system, my offer to serve as a WPA adviser has been ignored.
ReplyDeleteWe continually read opinions from average citizens claiming the NIZ Authority has no connection to Pawlowski and the City of Allentown administration. Yet, here we have the Allentown City Council voting to determine who shall LEAD it. Even the City's website highlights the NIZ Authority as a jewel of municipal government there. Confusing.

ReplyDeleteWell, you're a blogger, and as such, are already on the fringes of humanity.
