Shit! I Really Am the Kiss of Death!
According to Charlie Dent, Kasich will win in Pennsylvania. But to do that, he has to get on the ballot first. His nomination petition has been challenged in court.
Though his attorney concedes that there's not enough signatures, he is arguing that the challenge must be dumped because it was filed at 5:13 pm, after business had concluded for the day. Someone opened up after hours and processed the challenge.
Any challenge to a nomination petition must be strictly construed, and Judge Leadbetter seems to be leaning in that direction.
But you never know. That's why they have horse races and litigation.
If she does decide to bounce Kasich, I'm going to predict a Trump victory.
Oh wait, I already have. With my luck, I'll be right.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
By the time the caravan arrives in Pa. Kasich will be irrelevant, Dent should be talking to the people of Pa. rather than the Washington crowd. I am sure he was for Bush before Kasich, he will be left with Trump or Cruz, tough choice for him.
ReplyDeleteI like Kasich. I think he has a good shot of going all the way. If he's unsuccessful, he should run again ... and again, like John Morganelli.
ReplyDeleteYou must be especially conflicted knowing that the Otter is representing the Kasich campaign.
ReplyDeleteIt's no secret I don't much like Otter. But that has nothing to do with his positions or my positions. I'm not like you. I don't disagree with everything a person does or says simply bc I don't care for the person. That's an inconsistency only in your own warped mind.
ReplyDeleteBernie, I always appreciated your support of my presidential candidacy. You certainly know how to pick 'em. Carry on my wayward son.
ReplyDeleteTrump is the man he tells it like it is. People are don't like the truth. Maybe he could work on term limits and get the taxpayer to support him
ReplyDeleteGeorge, aka Redd, please drop the vulgarities. I give you a wide berth here and delete a lot of personal attacks against you. But you are NOT going to use my blog to post filth. Also, it is so difficulrt to understand you that it could be argued that every comment you make is OT. So I must insist on (1) No more vulgarities, and (2) comments in simple English without the strange lingo. Thank you.
