Aida and Majeeda: The Evil Muslim Menace
These are the people we fear. Shame on us!
Having just arrived at the Azraq refugee camp in northern Jordan, their primary concern is school. "We just want to go to school."

I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. One looks very similar to one of the Riverside CA terrorists. Shame on you for pretending those poor souls weren't killed by a two vicious terrorists, one of whom was an innocent looking woman. The Riverside families beg to differ.
ReplyDeleteI was reading where in Sweden police are warning women not to go out at night. Not because of these straw women you set up but for all the others. open your eyes

Fear and intolerance is always the beginning of the end....
ReplyDeletePeople want to say that we need to be preventative by blocking our borders when in reality it is just feeding into their separatist beliefs. Smh..
I am less afraid of someone yelling Allah Akbar, than seeing a burning cross in my front yard nowadays. Thanks, Trump!

Both are equally evil, although it's been a long time since we've seen burning crosses. On the other hand, we had some burning buildings and 3000 innocents murdered in the name of the religion of peace. Saying that not all Muslims are bad is a red herring. Put a 1000 pieces of candy in a dish and randomly poison 10. Sure there's 990 that aren't poisoned, but the 10 anonymous pieces of candy will kill you.
DeleteThis has nothing to do with tolerance. We are the most tolerant and generous nation. This is the embodiment of hatred for non-believers. Unfortunately that hatred is sewn into the tapestry of a culture that stones people for being gay, or daring as a woman to speak to males who are not family members.
Been to Lyons, Bowers or Fleetwood lately?
Deletethis has to be a joke. minimizing the issue is just as dangerous as over reacting to the issue. open borders and lack of border enforcement and visa enforcement will be the downfall.

ReplyDeleteMake America Great Again
ReplyDeleteI think all those who want more Muslim refugees should sign up to take in 1 family and be economically and legally responsible for them for 1 year. Come on Bernie you have room for some.
ReplyDeleteWomen are second class citizens in the Muslim world. We don't need any more of that warped perspective in this country.
ReplyDeleteOh, by the way, not just the young women Bernie.
ReplyDeleteWhile all the do gooders are wringing their hands and assigning imaginary mental conditions ,xenophobia, homophobia, islamiphobia to the population, we no longer care what tou think. When 50 percent of a Central America country's population is in the United States, we have a serious problem! We are a country of immigrants , I don't remember my ancestors bum rushing the border by the millions .
ReplyDeleteThere were numerous waves of immigrants, and each wave was vilified as being a scourge of some form or another... anon 9:21 you're opinion is not fact.
ReplyDeleteThese are children. They have spent the past five years running for their lives. Imagine that! A 10 yo girl has literally been in the run half her life. They lost a sister. Yet they both still have beautiful smiles, and their biggest desire is education. But let's be very afraid of them. The comments posted here show that fear and intolerance. Once could easily replace the word Muslim with the word Jew. You folks are authoritarians (that's the polite word for fascist), and I fear the direction in which this country is headed.
ReplyDelete" it's been a long time since we've seen burning crosses."
ReplyDeleteThat is bullshit. A klan leader lived in Williams Tp, and I have personally been approached by members of the KKK who were doing missionary work in Nazareth.
"I was reading where in Sweden police are warning women not to go out at night. Not because of these straw women you set up but for all the others. open your eyes "
ReplyDeleteThese are not "straw women," but children who have been on the run for five years until yesterday. Your attempt to dehumanize them is appalling. As for the warnings in Sweden, they were in one city after two women were attacked by men with foreign accents and for all you know, the attackers could have been American. It is not a warning being made all over Sweden.

So the KKK WERE burning crosses in Narareth.
ReplyDeleteI never said that, and that's not even close to a fair reading of what i did say. KKK crosses have been burnt in recent times in Williams Tp. (About 20 years ago). The KKK did visit Nazareth several times over the years and used to approach people in the circle. I can assure you they were not well received. I have never heard of a single instance of a cross burning in Nazareth. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteBernie,
ReplyDeleteI have to ask what about in the back of them nue homes on horsham rd in that specific area of williams twsp!)$ I am of the impression that you live far from that area, but as you do what you do and you do it well to¿!)$
Nazareth is a hotbed of KKK action in the Lehigh Valley. I always thought that was a joke until a resident and I had a talk. Good Lord, I never knew the extent of their influence in little Nazareth.
ReplyDeleteParis
ReplyDeleteI recommend the holy warriors keep poking the hornet nests!!
ReplyDelete"I don't have a problem with ban the box. I assume anyone employed by the government is probably dishonest, having committed a crime or preparing to commit a crime."
ReplyDeleteI've seen no evidence and I am more than willing to be critical of Nazareth. You, like the KK, are hiding behind anonymity.
What the hell are you talking about?
ReplyDeleteThe isolationist views expressed in some of these posts make me sad - not for the ignorance and racism that they betray, but for this simple fact: for these people the terrorists have won. They have abandoned some of the fundamental principals that made America great over the past 2 centuries in favor of fear and an extremist ideology. This is what the terrorists wanted when they attacked us. Mission accomplished.
ReplyDeleteNo they have not won anything. They are being isolated and eliminated. If it were up to apologists they would be beheading people on our streets on a daily basis. Thankfully the soft and weak will be protected. You're welcome.
ReplyDelete4:39, I see little difference between ISIS and your own brand of hate.
ReplyDelete"I'm not afraid of these girls. "
ReplyDeleteYou certainly are. You are afraid of two girls who have spent the past five years on the run. We have become a nation afraid of little girls. But you need not worry about me. Once Trump Is in office, he'll silence dissidents just like his pal Putin.
The proof is 90%. Watch the spelling. It's starting to show.
ReplyDeleteLots of perfectly good Italian Americans were 'feared" for a generation or two. They earned the respect, by and large, of the American people by adopting our principles, customs and mores. Italians (and other ethnic groups) didn't demand special places to worship in public schools, have spaghetti and meatballs every week in school, and no meat served in schools on Fridays (back in the day, of course.
ReplyDeleteThis hits the nail on the head in regards to the religion of peace. There is no adopting of our principles and morals. There is only dominance and a restructuring of our republic. These two girls are not the issue. Our failure to adequately screen those seeking refuge here is the issue. These girls are victims of a bloated bureaucracy run wild.
DeleteChristianity is a religion of peace, too, and I could go on forever at the atrocities committed in the name of Jesus Christ. You are one big tough American who is afraid of two little girls.
ReplyDeleteBernie's good. He made straw men out of two girls. He spits on the graves of victims of Islamic terrorism. No surprise here.
ReplyDeleteNobody spits on the graves of those who have been murdered and tortured by terrorists who could be acting in the name of Allah or God. But I laugh at your fear of little girls. They look real scary, and - gasp! - want an education. If you have any real religious beliefs, you should seek forgiveness for your intolerance and hate.
ReplyDeleteOhare a little touch of the flu.
ReplyDeleteYour comment makes no sense. Put down the vodka bottle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this, Bernie. These kids need all the help we can muster. It's a shame so many of your readers are so fearful of Muslims that they can't empathize with these girls.
ReplyDeleteBernie, I'm a binge blog reader and in the course of catching up on all the news, I was pleased to find this story. Thank you for posting it. Most refugees want only peace and safety. I hope they get that chance.
