You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Hopefully this is true !
ReplyDeleteI deleted a comment from redd. Please, you are better than this.

And you are THE load that people avoid. Speaking in tongues is tolerated by those with empathy for small minded twits. You have worn out your tenuous welcome and are boring.....
DeleteWill she lose the legal services of the city as well? I would think se would have stayed on till after the FBI investigation.
ReplyDeleteNot surprising. This must be a nightmare for her.
ReplyDeleteDaughter of a Judge...
ReplyDeleteShe will make the right move regardless as to why she leaves.
Did Koval, the City Controller, resign as well? She was not in attendance at City Council tonight. She is usually there to report on what her interns are doing. Not much else.
ReplyDeleteThe Mayor, as usual, was not in attendance at City Council.
The City taxpayers should not have to defend the Mayor and other employees against the FBI. City taxpayers should be paying to investigate the Mayor and figure out why the FBI took his cellphone and computer and raided his personal residence. We are told that we need to wait and let the FBI continue their investigation.
What a nightmare this must be for many people involved with the Mayor and the City.
She waited the proscribed "decent interval".
ReplyDeleteShe is a great man and a pioneer.
The ship is going down and the Captain has lashed himself to the wheelhouse, it's every man for himself.
(I'm hearing Michael Sclossberg is cooperating with the FBI as a "friendly witnesse".)
Daddy will decide when it's time to jump overboard.
ReplyDeleteHer father got her the job in the first place.
ReplyDeleteShe was even less qualified than her predecessor. It's entirely appropriate that Dad decides when she bails out,
It's time.
Hailstone's father is a Democratic power broker in the greater Scranton region.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, her hire had nothing to do with competency, and everything to do with politics.
i like her
ReplyDeletethen ask her for a date or something already
ReplyDeleteShe does whatever the Mayor tells her to do.
ReplyDeleteNo questions asked.
That's the only qualifications required.
5:26 -No Boyle's got that covered.
ReplyDeleteAnd you got shit. You know nothing. Like itt or not, there are new and existing businesses thriving in Allentown and it didn't happen by accident. So you don't like the NIZ, get over it. The criz isn't generating ANY development and we are still debating the merits of tearing down Martin Tower. Sara did her best under difficult circumstances. Grow the fuck up.
ReplyDeleteEast Sider
Sara got the job because Daddy is a political fixer.
ReplyDeleteWise the fuck up.
Left all sit back and see how many of these state subsidized businesses are still floating in 36 months.
ReplyDeleteOne wonders what she said to the FBI during her "interview".
ReplyDelete......and you got shit!
No doubt about it.
9:17 am its called posturing and the feds unlike local yocals in Allentown circus as well as the familia bankrupted Pryor havn't got the skill set as for an interview to be conducted at such a level as to be taken to task under RICO¿!($ Another 2,000,000.oo missing according to the fine forensic accounting abilities of the honorable integrity laden Lou Hershman bright to counsils attention in just the time of a counsil meeting¿!($
