KK Has Primary Challenger

Embattled Attorney General has a primary challenger, and it's not John Morganelli. At least not yet. Jack Stollsteimer, a former federal and Delaware County prosecutor, claims he is running to restore integrity and experience to the office. In the meantime, flamboyant activist Gene Stilp, who once used a pink pig bus to convey his messages of government waste, questions how she was able to use the Capitol Media Center or her publicly paid spokesperson to address the criminal case against her, which really is a personal matter. Last week, he also filed a complaint with the Disciplinary Board, seeking Kane's disbarment.

In the meantime, a new website - The Truth About Kathleen Kane - has emerged, and defends her as "the victim of angry men who targeted her after she exposed their pornography habits."

  1. This is beginning to come off as a pathological hatred of women.

  2. This is getting pathetic. Kane is so obsessed with keeping her job, she has ignored the fact that she has played the slimy game of politics since she's been in office and now she is upping the ante, trying to deflect attention away from her actions by lashing out at anyone she can. Someone taught her how to use the Clinton playbook.

  3. Now, let's release the emails and hard drive scans to find out if any of our elected officials responded to or exchange porn type emails using Govt computers. It is my understanding the Commonwealth Information Technology department has flagged some Govt computers with prohibited images and/or websites visited. In light of the porn scandal, why is this information withheld from the public? At most places of employment, access to porn results in immediate termination. Let the people decide whether such behavior is fitting for public office. Good for Kane for being a Whistle blower.

  5. Love the KK team deflection from the fact that she is charged with perjury. If she were taking notes from the Clinton playbook she would forfeit her law license in a plea bargain to avoid having it taken from her.

Throwing the hatred of women card at Bernie is interesting as the true hater is KK (hates men and republicans and those EVIL members of the gun culture).

  6. Ms Kane grew up in a wealthy family, and has always had a sense of entitlement. She has difficulty understanding why someone would pull the rug out from under her, and actually indict her with crimes against the Commonwealth.

This explains her rambling news conference and her state of denial. She has always felt a destiny for greatness, and has difficulty comprehending why this is happening to her and derailing her career into national, and perhaps world affairs.

  7. Jamie, Kathleen Kane married a wealthy man, but grew up hard. Her mother sometimes worked three jobs, and the house she lived in sometimes had no heat in the winter. There's a fairlylengthy and well-written story about her here: http://www.philly.com/philly/news/A_fighter_embattled.html

  8. Great insights in that article. The Kane family has ties to former Gov Casey, the Kane is Able trucking company hauls the LCB booze for the state stores. How convenient. KK's porngate seems somewhat conveniently targeted at those aligned with someone she despises. And there is no Florida Loophole that KK supposedly closed. It's a myth. The Florida Carry Permit is actually more difficult to gain than the PA License to Carry.

    Oh the spin....

  9. She's a Democrat and a female. That's two prophylactic inoculations against any legal trouble. She's not going anywhere.

Some people have a much harder time getting a LTCF than others. Bwa-ha-ha.

    1. Yes, depending upon where they live. Philly for instance goes above and beyond the criteria and adds hurdles that diminish the shall issue nature of the PA LTCF. Shall issue is ignored by Philly as they like to make their own rules. Florida requires fingerprints, proof of training, and a clean record. Utah had all of that plus the ability to deny for moral turpitude (offenses involving alcohol, issuing bad checks, etc).

  11. Its pretty clear Kane is the "victim" of a political agenda. It's also pretty clear the she's the "victim" of this political agenda because of her own witch hunt against SCOPA.

The real story here, which no one is covering, is the numerous ex parte emails between AG attorneys and DA attorneys with SCOPA that have yet to be disclosed. I don't much care about what porn the judges were watching but I do care about the content of the numerous ex parte emails that have essentially been swept under the rug at this point.

  12. I doubt very much that you will find any ex parte discussions. If there are, they need to be sanctioned.
