Allentown Mayor's Shill Should Be Honest About Who He Is

Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski's Communications Manager, Mike Moore, has an obligation to respond to press and public inquiries about the City. But it's pretty hard to do that honestly when you can't even say who you really are. Moore's real name is Michael Korp. He apparently adopted a stage name when he did radio in Easton, and has just continued using that fake name in his employment at the City. This is hardly the action of an honest and transparent administration. When he makes his usual panglossian remarks, it's hard to believe a word he says.

  2. I read the article which states that Moore is his professional name. What makes that "fake"? And why does it really matter? Your hatred of Pawlowski makes it sickly amusing to you to drag people through the mud. You should adopt a professional name. Barney Blowhard.

  3. Mike Moore was a Northampton County Republican operative. When did he flip?

  4. Moore flopped when he left the Tom Goldsmith administration. Goldsmith had led the way by courting the Dem power base during his last term.
Moore is a good solider. He can be counted on to follow the game plan.

  5. Goldsmith was rewarded by the D's with a plum
position on the state LCB. Moore got placed with King Ed.

  6. It is not unusual for radio or TV people with "stage names" to become PR people for governmental entities and keep their stage name for the sake of consistency and/or "branding." With that said, at this point Mike Moore might want to leave the City and go back to his given name!

You have been dragged through the mud so much it has clogged the crevasses in your face and ass, as well as seeped into your brain.

First you claim that it is his legal name, then when you are shown to be wrong, you duck and swerve. Too bad you can't swerve in the RAV4 anymore... lol

Please please reopen your blog so we can laugh at what you write.

I believe government has an obligation to be honest and transparent. When its spokesperson can't even use his real name, it fails in that mission.

  11. First, its is neiter unethical or unlawful to use his professional name. WHEN egbert murrow was sworn in as director of the usia, he continued to use his professional name, edward murrow. When leslie king took the oath of office he used the name gerald ford, hardly his legal name. Your only rightful concern would be to hide a questionable past. Moore is well known as a korp and useof the professional name eliminates any confusion with his brother, matt, who is the spokesman for the allentown archdiocese.
Second, Goldsmith never tok care of Moore. He was unemployed for many years after his service in easton. In fact, he spent much of that time battling cancer. Third, You have no idea what any of this is about. You only speculate. I think it was wrong for pawloski to use staff to release info that is at best also speculation and misinformation. Moore is only following orders.

  12. His brother is Matt Korp, spokesperson for Diocese of Allentown. Goes by Matt Kerr

  13. That explains a lot. Matt Kerr has never responded to an inquiry. Not one. Two peas in a pod ...

  14. You do realize most people don't give a shit about your "inquiries". You are a washed up disbarred attorney with delusions of grandeur.

  15. Looks like Mr. Moore will be going back to radio after Today's news about the Fleckster and The Penguin.Lots of radio stations down here in Myrtle Beach

  16. Go back to radio? There is only ONE newsman left on LV radio. That is Dan Holzman, who in addition to the sidekick role for Gunther, is actually a very good news guy. If only he had the resources to get out to cover more stories.
