You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
This was predicted when the place opened. It was always the plan to be a second prison. Fooled few in the know.
ReplyDeleteShould nonviolent offenders be in jail? Is this the best option or can we get more creative than that?
ReplyDeleteThe courts decide who goes to jail and who walks. When the judges relent..then the jail population will stabilize and costs can be reduced accordingly. W. Easton can house up to 200 or more inmates if expanded on that site with modifications. County has their foot in the door and Atiyeh owns the building. W. Easton needs the money. You figure it out.
ReplyDeleteKey sentence... "The implication was that a possibility existed that Executive Brown may not renew a contract for the facility."
ReplyDeleteFill it or close it.

ReplyDeleteUnfortuately, some people are only compelled to meet their financial obligations to their children when they are incarcerated and can only leave the facility for work release. My friend's ex-husband,for example, snorts his entire paycheck up his nose instead of paying his child support when left to his own devices.
Cupcake in Nazareth needs to be making more arrests so Abe can continue to feed his political minions.
ReplyDeleteCupcake O'Hare from Nazareth does not have arrest powers.
ReplyDeleteThat little turd Matt Dees caught a tongue lashing from the mayor and was stammering a quasi apology in response, quite a sight. Better stick to driving the short bus and designing rubbish websites.
ReplyDeleteI watched Dees video and he just gave that two faced, hand shaking wind bagged Mayor the truth. The biggest joke is when the Mayor tried to cover up the $million$ left out of the budget by the council president.
ReplyDeleteDees can't handle the truth.
ReplyDeleteAny body who calls them self Dandy Lion is a Nancy Boy.
ReplyDeleteDandy Lion is one of the sock puppets used by Mezzacappa. She is a weed. She uses this story about the work release center to attack Dees, the Mayor and just about everyone else that strikes her fancy. Contrary to what she thinks, sun does not rise and set on her, and people have interests aside from her own petty obsessions of the week. On the bright side, she should be behind bars very soon.
ReplyDeleteMore Inmates less Officers...not a good combination
