Turnout Low in Hanover 3

As of 11:17 am, 61 of 897 registered voters have cast a ballot. That's 6.8% so far.

  1. I voted at around 6pm in another township. I was about at 15% of the registered number.

The poll worker told me that this was a higher percentage than the other precincts in the township.

Hard to say, but this tracks not unlike the one data point you mentioned, considering the later time in the day. Pretty pathetic.

  4. A primary with no opponents? Did you think she might lose? It will be a different story in November.

Wow - what a feat. There were no other R's running, for four seats. The odds were 100%. Keep a fresh box of Depends handy next to your audit reports, Dandee - November will separate the wheat from the chaffed leggings. Criminals do sometimes get elected, but not in the year they are convicted. Public opinion between now and November could be downright deadly.

  6. As I went to enter my polling place, two attractive teenaged girls gave me a big "hello". There was a middle aged guy with them, who tried to hand me a flyer. I noted the "Kassis" button on his shirt, with some disdain.

I quicky thought of O'Hare's blog - which informed me about this ruse. The guy said "we've got a great candidate for you." I looked at him and said "Great. Unfortunately I am voting for another guy."

MCall reports Scummy and Murray are out on front.

  9. Guess she'll need that vehicle more than you O'Hare.

  10. Vote Gross out and she can be the town manager - which she wants to be anyway. That woman is plain nasty, and her own worst enemy. Voters should elect Henry Nodoline, Dees (who kicked ass), Nixon and Lewis.

When they can get rid of Tom Nodoline they should. Fat blowhard sits there chewing his cud with a pole in his ass and sandbags people all the time. He turns meetings into shouting matches constantly.

Mezz can continue in her role as whacked out resident in the audience - which she plays to some acclaim.

This is the recipe to get WE back in the game.

Which is a bummer, because she no longer owns it - Bernie does.

  14. Mezzacappa, Drop the OT rants here. I don't really give a shit about your vendetta or your braggadocio about something you apparently had nothing to do with.
