Molovinsky: S Whitehall Clerical Staff Goes Union

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. Workers are realizing that a Union offers protection, especially in PA. Though Union membership totals have dropped since the 1960's because of jobs going overseas and to Mexico, many small businesses (<100 employees) are organizing.

ReplyDelete12:42 is correct. No need for unions when employers treat employees fairly. Sadly most don't.
ReplyDeleteSouth Whitehall until recently has treated its workers pretty good. Amazing how all of a sudden they vote to unionize workers that traditionally are not?? I would have to bet that the Commissioners stepped out of line and did not let Jon Hammer Manage the staff.
