  1. Workers are realizing that a Union offers protection, especially in PA. Though Union membership totals have dropped since the 1960's because of jobs going overseas and to Mexico, many small businesses (<100 employees) are organizing.
You can't install a Union if the workers are treated fairly.

  4. 12:42 is correct. No need for unions when employers treat employees fairly. Sadly most don't.

  5. South Whitehall until recently has treated its workers pretty good. Amazing how all of a sudden they vote to unionize workers that traditionally are not?? I would have to bet that the Commissioners stepped out of line and did not let Jon Hammer Manage the staff.

Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics.
