GOP State Committee Endorses Giordano For Superior Court

The Republican State Committee has endorsed Northampton County's very own Emil Giordano for a seat on the state Superior Court.  So far as I know, no one will challenge that choice at the polls, and Judge Giordano is virtually assured the Republican nomination. Lehigh County Judge Doug Reichley, a former state representative, considered making a run of it, but withdrew.

  2. It's good to see judges go up the career ladder, but it always stings when they leave. We're lucky to have some excellent judges here in NorCo - good luck Emil.

  3. He's a really good guy; a rarity in the political world.

  4. Emil is a class act and hard working attorney and judge. He worked his way up from the bottom and is the epitome of what an attorney and judge should be. Wishing him all the best!

  5. This goes to show the ignorance of many of your readers. Judges who serve in Northampton County are "Commonwealth Judges". Magistrates that serve in Northampton county are also Commonwealth Judges. They are in the state pension system. This isn't another pension grab....it's the same. 9:15 is simply and idiot.

  6. Why isn't their some way for your readers to prove they have an I.Q. above 30 before they contribute to your blog. This could be a job for Gregory when he gets out of prison. After all he is a MENSA.
By the way, when does MENSA Jim get released? Should be sometime soon.

  7. 11:01, If I had a minimum IQ requirement, I'd probably have to ban myself.I just heard I have an IQ of 10.

As for Gregory, I suspect he does his entire sentence. He has shown no remorse.

  8. "MENSA Jim"

Go look at his rants on MezzacRAzy's site. If he ever was in Mensa, his brain has atrophied and he's a blathering idiot now. How many Mensas do you find serving sentences in PITA State Prison?

"MENSA Jim" will be cleaning toilets somewhere, if he is lucky to get a job as an ex-con. He's probably gotten an up close look of the toilets at SCI, so he's qualified.

  9. Bernie, I'm assuming "dr" is referring to Hon. Doug Reichley. I, along with many consider him to be an excellent public servant.
