Sometime yesterday, my left sidebar stopped showing up on my blog. My guess is nobody much noticed, but it was driving me nuts. It would show up if I clicked on an individual post, but not on the blog itself.
I had to go through the HTML on each post to find the problem. I found it on my Clinton Oxford post. It's fixed, and I'm back in business, but behind schedule.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.

ReplyDeleteI noticed out of the corner of my eye now that you mention it. I don't use it much, but I have been wondering if Mezzacappa owes you more than $69K by now. It was last updated 9/2.

ReplyDeleteSince money in the bank earns 1% or less, and her debt to you earns 6%, it would really benefit her to pay it off. And nobody thinks she has $68,000 sitting in a CD, so she is paying a full 6% on $68,000. Not a very good fiscal move, but a great savings plan for you, Bernie.
