Return of the Gracedale Goon!

Though most of the Gracedale Goons are now in padded rooms somewhere, Jack D'Allessandro is still a regular at NorCo Council meetings. Two weeks ago, he warned them that the Steel Stacks at ArtsQuest are radioactive, which explains those different colors at night.

Last night, he took a gratuitous shot at the Unholy Trinity.

"In spite of Mr. Stoffa, Ron Angle and Bernie O'Hare, and Bernie O'Hare's constant lying still to date, Gracedale is doing extremely well, and I'll let Mr. Werner tell you the rest of it."

So there you have it.

Bob Werner later reported that Gracedale's census is at its highest point to date - 677.

D'Allesandro had an unpleasant night. After the Council meeting, an 80' satellite dish suddenly popped out of his ass, and the next thing you know, he was gone.

  3. You are very mean to that man and his disabled wife. He is angry and has a right to be so. He was lied to on numerous occasions by county leaders.

  4. I:43 am the people who are lying are those who claim Gracedale will make money again ...never happen. And since the Lehigh Valley is over bedded by 500 beds we compete with the private sector for patients. Is this the role of government ? Maybe we should make candy up there and compete with Just Born.

  5. Gracedale is an integral part of the elderly poor care continuum in this area. Your "overbedded" claptrap is some nonsense. Do you have any real life experience with nursing homes and their real world practices? I didn't think so.

  6. The census may be up but so is the county contribution. Gracedale is on pace to lose $8.3 million this year. Brown will have to increase taxes next year to pay for the loses. I'm guessing the Dems don't vote for it.

The goons may have won a battle but they are losing the war. As Medicaid reimbursements shrink counties continue to get out of the nursing home business. Schuylkill County voted to sell theirs just this week.

  8. That dude has really BIG tits. That's quite an accomplishment for a purported male. He's Mrs. Doubtfire with bigger tits.

How much money is that disgraceful money pit wasting each year while delivering sinfully poor performance to county seniors?

  9. The soundtrack takes an excellent video and improves it to all time classic status. You should put it in your sidebar. It makes me laugh every time I watch it. It's like one of those laughing baby videos.

IN fairness I would put Bernie's up against his any day. Ohoh, did I just come up with a porno movie?

  12. In my opinion, no county government belongs in the nursing home business.

  13. Visit a nursing home and you might feel differently. Be sure to be open minded about what you see.
