You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. ReplyDeleteOk it nice that there was a reporting that this pipeline is going through Bethlehem Township and of course others, when are the hearings going to start? When will the people have a voice to ask questions? Or, will this pipeline be like the developments that are going in in Bethlehem Township a done deal with behind the scene concurrence before the Public gets a chance to weigh in? Hoping that speaking to staffers does not count for any required Public notification!

ReplyDeleteI would imagine that in Bethlehem Township, they will try to parallel the existing Columbia Gas pipeline as much as possible to avoid buying a new right of way corridor, which would be a very uphill battle in such a developed area. Columbia may have rights for an additional pipeline under their existing easements that could be assigned to this new entity, but I haven't seen the documents.

One that was originally posed as 30 inches has already grown to 36 The penneast, then there is the Diamond east...join us in the fight against these pipelines.
