ET Turkey Awarded to Trachta

Nazareth Police Chief "Cupcake" Trachta has been awarded an Express Times turkey for his "over-the-top" reaction to tiny FT (Fire Trachta) stickers plastered throughout the Borough, calling for his ouster. The over-reaction included an arrest, a series of misdemeanor charges (8 counts for each Defendant) that apparently were never approved by the DA, a chained-and-shackled perp walk, subpoenas to seven or eight people, police harassment of the deaf mother of one Defendant, a manufactured victim and a chief caught coaching the prosecuting officer.

Fire Trachta.

  1. FIRE TRACHTA HIRE CHIEF KOCH! Koch was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Koch was a Dare officer. Koch was Detective. Koch has been a long time police officer with Nazareth since 1996. Koch was good enough to be acting Chief for over a year and a half! He is in charge of all the department's vehicle maintenance. Koch is the right man for the job and position of POLICE CHIEF! Get rid of Trachta, promote KOCH! He lives in Nazareth Boro, and is a great neighbor and all around guy!

  7. 11:25, it is not the number of arrests that makes someone a good chief. It's whether he has the respect of his men. Chief Ruch was a good chief. Chief Sinclair was a good chief. Officer Koch might or might not be a good chief. He'd certainly be a step up from what is there now. But before deciding on Teachta's successor, we need to get rid of Trachta, before he bankrupts the borough.

  8. Suspend Chief Trachta with pay pending the results of a independent investigation by a P.I.

Should the results show that Chief Trachta has committed an act that is either conduct unbecoming or illegal. Demote him due to incompetency. Or LET HIM GO!

AN "AT WILL" EMPLOYEE. THEN YOU SIMPLY ADVISE HIM THAT HIS SERVICES ARE NO LONGER REQUIRED. Any other half witted attorney should know this. We do it Al the time in Bethlehem city.

  11. Bernie, your 11:08 comment is right on the money. As far as 11:25 is concerned, like many good officers, perhaps Koch doesn't care who gets the credit as long as the arrest is made. Perhaps he just isn't an egotist or headline grabber.

As an aside, his son just won his age division in the Rover 5K.

  15. The police are still tops for the home owning taxpayers of Nazareth. The check stealing druggies with rap sheets would love to run things. They already do nothing but lay around and live off the taxpayers. They pollute our town with their filth.
Enjoy your laugh. Unfortunately a weak junior judge was unprofessional enough to help out a former colleague and not only acquit the litterers but also make unprofessional comments.

The real turkey goes to lost justice for decent people everywhere and now anarchy is king in Nazareth.

  18. She has been hijacking the ET story all day with all kinds of nonsense under pseudonyms. I love her claim that these gilts are now going to commit murder. Anyone who reads her rants are going to walk away shaking their head. Wow! I was unaware that I was the ringleader, or that Ron Angle paid the freight, or that Jackie Taschner threw the case as a political favor. Mezzacappa just pulls these lies out of her ass. She even attacked the lady who walks people's dogs as a "low life."

    ReplyDelete
  19. It's obviously MezzacRAZY. She can't stop from using the same phrases she always uses when she rants. Then there are the wild accusations toward you and anyone else she doesn't like.
Now you have a few more pseudonyms that can be added to the list she uses.
If anyone bothers to take a minute to click on those names she is using for those comments, they are new, or already known to be her.

  20. I believe it is our own little Matty Deelight attempting to damage Mezzacappas reputation, hope he has a good lawyer...

  21. Mezzacrazy, Oh I'm sure you had help. According to Schaadt, there was a meeting at your house some time ago that included you, him, the Blog Mentor, Ron Shegda and the Fake Rev. A meeting of the trolls to decide how to attack this blog. I'm sure this "false comment attribution" you discuss is part of the strategy. You and he both love top accuse others of what you do.Truth is most people are sane.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Mezzacappa you have a reputation. So good that it is now worth over $68K for O'Hare's bank account and soon to be more because you got your own mother involved in an illegal conveyance of your house.

  23. @9:47 MezzaYouKilledMyPig is claiming you financed and organized the Dream Team. Of course this contradicts totally her allegation you don't have a pot to pee in.

Maybe she is crediting you the $67 grand she owes you.

The comments she plastered all over the ET display just how whacked she is. The only stock phrase she missed is "poison posse".

How does it feel to be "battered" by the "truth", Bernie? HA!!!

  25. For a self-righteous proponent of the Constitution, it is astonishing what little respect she has for people. Character assassination and harassment are her currency. It is also indelibly clear she has no concept of "truth". The truth to her is anything that she can fabricate in order to justify libeling others, while indemnifying herself.

She's a menace, and needs to be stopped. Good for you Bernie for standing up to her and getting a well-deserved judgment in a court of law. She has no respect for the courts either, which is in line with her hypocritical stance.

Everything is one giant conspiracy against her, including her ongoing battle with her own town government. What is the common thread?

Can you imagine if this vindictive, selfish woman had succeeded in getting into government? The truth stopped that. How ironic.

  26. It's clear where the poison posse stands on TM,there is more to the political power structure than borough and county positions. Attend a 9-12 meeting if you want to see the pull she possesses in NorCo.

  28. "It's clear where the poison posse stands on TM,there is more to the political power structure than borough and county positions. Attend a 9-12 meeting if you want to see the pull she possesses in NorCo."

Since she does not attemd their meetings with any frequency, and it is a nonpolitical group, my guess would be none.

But Tricia Mezzacappa, R.M., I am more interested in the statement made by Henry Schaadt about a meeting at your West Easton home that included the Blog Mentor, who now is being sured for libel bt the Sprague law firm; Ron Shegda, whose mentally disable sister was taken away from him; and Mario "Fake Rev" Martinez, who wants to love me to death. According to Schaadt, you assembled to work out a plan to silence me.

How did that work out for you?

    1. Alan Koch is also the Field Training Officer! That means that the Borough council likes the way he does things. They want the new officers to be just like him! Why else do you make him a Field Training Officer. We're making shirts up that say KFC = Koch for Chief. Time to take out the CITY garbage, and refresh the department with our own guys! Koch you are the chosen one! You are RIGHT guy for the Chief's job.

  36. By showing council that they have an immediate person to place as acting Chief, (Koch) they can't use the excuse.......who is going to replace as Chief if we let Trachta go? It also shows that Trachta is replaceable! Demote Chief Trachta and promote KOCH!

  37. I was unaware that ET EDITOR JIm Deegan is my nemesis. As for the his points, I agree to some extent. The problem was caused by an emotional train wreck who sidetracked a small government and got them off center.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yeah, she's hijacked the ET with comments on the Deegan story, the turkey and the Joe welsh LTE. Every now and then she takes a gratuitous shot at me. She uses all sorts of names to deceive readers into thinking numerous people share her views.

    ReplyDelete
  40. If only she would leave some gratuitous deposits to your bank account to start paying off her debt to you.

She does seem fixated on LVL. She gets that way, as Bernie well knows.

She does have some valid complaints about West Easton. They are abusing the RTK law IMO. Holding board minutes (assuming they exist) for a month after approval to redact information is totally preposterous. Not having an employee who can retrieve copies of readily accessible records and produce a copy is ridiculous. Not informing council that a council member DIED for months? What the heck is going on in that town?

    ReplyDelete
  41. It's just like Mezzacappa to ignore something like the death of the West Easton councilman until it gets some mention in LVL. She has just posted a blog about it, but as usual the blog is more about her own issues than it is about the councilman's death.

  43. Alright I think the Chief has real job security problems coming up. For one thing he has a lot legal issues coming his way. For another issue the Mayor decided to "take a vacation" at the end of the month. Probably so that the Chief can't blame him for getting the "Axe". Council has a real opportunity to release themselves with the Chief's current contract. I'm sure that someone is looking into the rules and laws of P.A. CIVIL SERVICE. Get a second legal opinion!

    ReplyDelete
  44. 8:32, Agreed that the borough has allowed Mezzacappa to sidetrack them. I noticed that the second time i went there and have not returned. Agreed that you don't hold approved minutes for redactions. That is nonsense. But there is more to the Stoudt story. I understand that both Gross and Tom Nodoline attended the viewing and funeral, Council was aware of the death, and DePaul is just making trouble, as he is wont to do. I do not believe these incessant appeals to the Commonwealth Court are necessary. I do agree with the lockdown. Mezzacappa threatened to kill a Council member, open carries, posted a video that included a casket and then West Easton, and penned the LTE that basically claimed Ross Tp got what it deserved. She is a menace who should not be allowed into a public building without an armed escort. I do think that it is time for that borough to consider a merger. It could be with any contiguous municipality. I doubt there is much enthusiasm for it.

  46. You know what gets me. There are alot of Boroughs and Townships around the state that have contracts with their police chiefs. I combed the 2nd class township code and the borough codes and I have yet to find where the codes give the authority to the municipal governments to have employment contracts with any employees. The only employment contracts they can enter into are collective bargaining agreements. I am not a municipal legal scholar by any means, but I believe if the state doesn't give local governments the authority, then they don't have it. Therefore, the contracts are null and void. In other words, Tracha is an AT WILL employee!
