Tales of Trachta: Where's The Perp Walk?

When the nasty Sticker Gang was arrested for littering Nazareth with postage stamp sized stickers critical of the Chief of Police, they were paraded in a staged perp walk, chained and shackled, before a compliant press that was all-too-willing to unmask these horrible villains who dared exercise their First Amendment rights. The Express Times, a supposed defender of Free Speech, even gave even gave this trio a turkey.

But when Trachta recently arrested a quartet for dealing heroin in the borough, that minor crime warranted no staged perp walk or even an unstaged one. Criticizing the Chief is far more serious.

This should prove interesting when the civil rights lawsuit is filed.

  1. According to the poll, it isn't the sticker gang that deserves the turkey. That should go to Trachta.

ET is getting a reputation as a great fish wrapper.

  4. Not connected but reach for the stars. Your new best friend was arrested and due to his belligerent nature was secured when taken to DM. He did do what he was arrested for so it is not exactly a separate but equal case.

Still due to lawyers involved there will probably be a settlement advised and taxpaying homeowners will once again take it in the backside for the sake of criminals.

I hope the towns solicitor says to fight it. Law was followed and the so called "statements made by the Chief are alleged by a check stealer?

Yeah, real stellar case. Keep costing taxpayers money O'Hare. What do you care, you like your friends don't pay any taxes.

Thanks for clogging up the courts with this nonsense. Tell the boys to wear clean underwear to their trial. Body odor is a turn-off for a judge.

  6. WEF does a niece job of detailing the life of the criminal in the sticker gate case. Too bad you can't read his history on this blog.

anon 3:13, why not go to work and pay off all the judgments against you.

  8. Bernie, I totally disagree with you but love your blog. It may not seem that way as I tear into some of your remarks. It is the most entertaining thing since Angle was in government. I mean that. I don't take it seriously and that may piss you off but I find it more entertaining then an episode of Sean Hannity or Megan Kelly and that ,my friend is a compliment.

Your hero Angle once said people take things too seriously. I hope you don't. I am always going after your entries and sometimes I even agree. This latest though is you once again losing control of your emotions. In other words anger over brain.

Still, you have the best blog around, even though you still have unresolved anger issues.

    Peace out!

  14. Hi Bernie! I'm writing a bit late today, never started to post until I saw the blueberries, porcine princess, doug camaro (etc) posts. They have now moved from your blog, to ET, to the MC ! Well,I tried to post last week on WEFootprint and guess what? NO GO. I'm a kinda old drunk guy, live on Ridge St, and sometimes walk cause I can't sleepreal late (or early) in the morning. Guess who's up real late posting or watching TV late cause they can't find a job? No, I'm not a "stalker", I am an aware person who hopes the stain is removed from the area ASAP. Cause the someone unmentioned takes precautions to hide the weapons before said person transports them in a vehicle....just sayin'....
