Dozens of Tiny "Fire Trachta" Stickers Decorate Nazareth

As fast as police can take them down, that's how fast they are popping up. Tiny "FT (Fire Trachta)" stickers are springing up all over Nazareth, along with the dandelions. They're are so small, about 2" x 2", that I would never have noticed them unless I saw police officers taking them down yesterday. Chief Thomas Trachta, at whom the stickers are directed, has ordered cops to keep Nazareth sticker-free.

No sense of humor.

They're all over. Mailboxes, telephone poles, benches and even crime prevention signs. Police have removed a bunch, but I saw more when I went on an early evening walk

The FTs are someone's way of saying FU to Trachta.

Who's doing it?

I'm likely the chief suspect, or up there. I recently criticized Trachta as a lousy police chief unwilling to listen to anyone but himself. Martinets like he are why regionalized police forces like Colonial Regional look so good.

I do like the sly humor in the stickers, although I would have spelled it тяасдта. But alas, it's not me. These stickers are being posted anonymously. I sign my name. Also, although stickers are much smaller than signs, I don't like to see utility poles and road signs marred in any way. On park benches and water fountains, however, it's pretty harmless.

Trachta detests townies (people who live downtown), so he's probably scouring videos up and down Main Street to find his culprit.

Whoever you are, wave a few times!

I frankly think this clever idea, which does have the townies laughing, comes from one of his own. Most townies don't know that Trachta has a big civil service hearing today. A police officer who has lived here all his life and wants to work here, thinks Trachta has blackballed him. And he may be right. Not only did Trachta sink his police application here, but he even tried to get this cop fired from working as a police officer in another municipality.

Trachta has claimed that this person was involuntarily committed during his teen years.

But he's wrong. During his teen years when both his grandfather and father suddenly died, this officer did seek professional help, but was never given an involuntary commitment. I was unaware that grieving the loss of a father and grandfather disqualifies you as a cop. If anything, it should be an enhancer. I would want a police officer who knows what it is like to suffer an emotional trauma.I'll bet the Civil Service Commission does, too.

I called Chief Trachta for comment yesterday, but he never called back.

You see, I'm just a townie myself.

I've come to the realization that we don't need guys like Trachta to make us look like idiots. We do a great job of that all by ourselves, damn it!

I have begun my own research concerning this guy.You need to know about him.

I'll start tomorrow with Chief Trachta and his investigation of a pile of shit.

  1. Stop playi8ng games O'Hare. You know who is doing this. It is either you or more probably one of your poison posse followers.
You have been attacking this police chief for a few weeks. You decided he must go because he asked you to stop harassing a woman in Nazareth. The family asked you to stay away and yet you insert yourself.

This is never about helping someone or protecting someone. It is always about your erratic narcissism and your ego. I hope the chief investigates you fully.

  2. I have never met the guy. Have heard some things about him that he is a bit of a hard ass. I do realize there are people who hate cops, so I guess I will reserve judgment for the time being.

I think the fact he is not from Nazareth shouldn't be a bad thing since a lot of the "local" cops in the area come form all over the place.

  3. What you've written before about Trachta's heavy New York accent is germane here and bears repeating. Outsiders are scary and dangerous.

  4. It's widely known that the Chief takes most of his direction from borough council. I mostly enjoy your blog but you have more rumor and innuendo than fact here. Perhaps you should gather more information before you attack him.

"It was something I was seeing a lot of, whether it was from supervisors or undercovers and even investigators," he said. - Stephen AndersonBrooklyn

You can trust Trachta. This is where he worked as supervisor for during his career with the N.Y.P.D.........till 2006 where he got word of the start of investigation.

Actually, borough council takes their direction from him. He is running Nazareth. I'll have more about how he controls borough council in a future post.

  8. 9:2o, Trachta was a narc supervisor at Brooklyn South. I am aware of a corruption investigation and arrests during his time there, but he was not charged.

  9. "the fact he is not from Nazareth shouldn't be a bad thing"

No, it is not. But it's a bad thing when he actually blackballs a police officer who is from Nazareth, as he has done. Also these little stickers tell me that the people who live here are getting fed up with this guy. He is a bad cop, and by the time I am done telling his take, most of you will agree he has to go.

I have been doing that since the date of the Rosie hearing. This story is a prelude to the Tales of Trachta. I have spoken to people on and off council. I also did reach out to Trachta yesterday, though he declined to speak. It is not a pretty story.

  11. Better not jaywalk the streets of Nazareth, BO or you will end up in the borough hoosegow after a Rodney King beat-down!

  12. Yeah, I am aware of that problem. It's a real one.

  13. As Bernie points out above, the pointless drivel at 1:18 is obviously someone who hates and stalks Bernie, from someone found guilty of libeling him.

Does it make sense that Bernie would go around pasting stickers up, as a method of (discrediting, criticizing, etc) when he spends a large amount of time driving all over the LV to accumulate information for blogs? None whatsoever. He has this blog and other outlets to post stories.

Mezzacappa has been unheard of in the last few days, and I was hoping she had suffered a mental breakdown and was institutionalized. That might be the best thing that could happen to her.

  14. We all know that Bernie can't afford to buy stickers

  15. Today a sticker. Tomorrow a hashtag. Rubber bracelets by the end of the month. This is getting serious.

  16. You are right 10:40, Bernie is to lazy to do it but someone like you...now that would make sense.

  17. "Rubber bracelets by the end of the month"

I'm loving this. Whoever is doing this has come up with some great and inexpensive ideas for future political races.

  18. "Bernie is to lazy"

It should be, "Bernie is too lazy."

    ReplyDelete
  19. I wasn't "too" lazy to learn proper grammar, tart.

Or to recognize and appreciate a hard-working blogger, who does his best to report on politics, human interest stories and events around the LV. And when he exposed the Witch of West Easton, her kettle split open and gushed toxic waste like that from a chemical spill. She became a scorned witch - obsessed and a stalker.

Since that date, she has been skirting the ground with her broom, creating debris clouds and desperately seeking anything at all to pin on hard-working BOH. Of just to claim he did - which is why the Witch is in hot water.

We benefited from BOH showing up at one of our town meetings. He objected that the Board was going into Executive Session illegally, and they agreed and had their deliberations in public. Then he wrote an unbiased article summarizing the meeting. Did he blow his horn about the Sunshine Act? Yes, deservedly so. If not for him, we citizens would have been left in the dark - which is where the Witch resides. Does anyone know if there is electricity in that hovel?

What would we gain if the Witch showed up at our meeting with a pistol on her hip, explaining to the Board how her 2A rights protected her? Zip. Bernie = Asset. Witch = Liability.

  20. Mr. Angle please relax and just send Bernie his check, Hmmm OK.

  21. Bernie, have you ever been paid to write a store on your blog?

  22. NCP has a cozy jail cell waiting for you. You can just ask the guards for their bd instead of filing a rtk. That should save you some time.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm sure the guards will be happy to see you

  24. Thanks for the nice words, 3:43. As for the next two comments, my only source of income from writing is what I am paid by the Bethlehem Press. Writing about a bad police chief in Nazareth is hardly something Ron Angle cares about, and I am doing this at some risk bc I know assholes like you will flock to him and try to cook something up. But the truth is the truth, and it needs to be told.

    ReplyDelete
  25. The only truth is that this man helped a business with a wacky neiborhood person who made a threatening remark. It's the police job to make sure a problem doesn't escalate to violence. I don't care if she's the neighborhood rose or wackadoodle. The police did their job and probably saved someone from being harmed.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Good job chief Trachta!

    ReplyDelete
  27. The above two comments come from someone who lives in West Easton, not Nazareth, and who is more interested in her private vendetta than the triuth.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'm looking forward to Bernie's blog on Trachta's investigation into a pile of shit. Angle would be a great choice to do the background work on that article.

  29. "Defacing property is a really bad idea. You can go to jail if found guilty of criminal mischief"

Honestly? Tell us more about the law. This is fascinating.

  30. Bernie, I have seen these stickers but payed no attention to them. One thing for sure is you don't have time for such nonsense. This would be easy to track as some local print shop most likely made them up . You know am not in any posse but I know you can't muster one no matter what, even in Nazareth on your home venue . You did not have this done because your surely too old also . Cameras will show the suspect someplace, anyway, even in Nazareth.

  31. Trachta is pretty worthless. I had a case I was investigating a couple of years back in nazareth. I went to the police station to check on any prior calls for service at the address and if they had any run ins with my subject. Trachta looked at me like I was talking a foreign language.

    Also this.

  33. Mr. Hill. The real police are not obligated to work with pretend wannabe policemen in old retried police cars. You guys are a joke.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I heard that Nazareth Police Chief, smooth talked to getting the brand new police car for himself, and he can use it to go back and forth to his home, and drive his family in it. It's all black with tinted windows! Really a police car that was to be purchased for patrol, was given to the police Chief as a job well done! I also found out that he is screwing with the number one and number two guys on the civil service list, because he's trying to get two current part timers that help him do his dirty work to be hired full time. How many lawsuits are going to be coming out because of this circus leader? When is the guy who I voted for Carl Strye going to stand up for his citizens? Come Sneakers get to it!

    1. 3:21 Your an idiot! Your obviously one of the two guys who are on the civil service list. Grow Up! If you voted for the Mayor then you live in Nazareth Borough. You obviously also know what new car the Chief drives, because you probably stalk him.
It's not hard to figure out who you are! Maybe you should stop drinking the cool aid, you walk job.

    1. This sounds like a threat? 4:17 "let's see some tears" doesn't that mean to cause harm to another? Nazareth Borough P.D. has many wonderful policemen working there. They all are lead by a great Chief! I would hope that no one would be so stupid to cause harm to any of these guys. 4:17 "let's see some tears" now if anything happens to any of these good guys, I hope that they do a website search and find out who you are! You either get arrested or sued civilly or both at the same time.

  37. Immature officers? Would that be the officer who was conducting an affair while he was on duty? I understand Trachta took no action against him. Even I, a bottom-feeding blogger, knows there are corroborating texts. Maybe he should spend less time analyzing the shit on his porch and more time doing his job. Is Rosie's report of this affair, which turned out to be accurate, the real reason why Trachta authorized harassment charges for an incident that no officer witnessed? Do tell. Incidentally, I have numerous sources. Trachta is widely regarded as a problem. Ask around instead of being his stooge.

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's called kool-aid, not cool-aid. For all you know, it could be a member of the civil service commission royally pissed off about the games Trachta tried to play. It could be an attorney, trying to bait you. Or worse, it could be a Freemason!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I believe that comment probably comes from a police officer and is directed at officers that Trachta wants to eliminate.

As I suspected, the comments are beginning to reveal that it is a dysfunctional PD. And that is a sign of poor leadership. Nazareth could do much better than this guy. It is outrageous that he was given a contract. Boro Council needs to instruct Al Pierce to research ways to declare a breach.

  40. Bernie scoops the mainstream media again. ET just published the Great Nazareth Sticker Mystery story.

  42. Gotta' love how Trachta won't dignify the slur, but he has no problem unleashing officers to track down the evil criminal who placed stickers on park benches. Wonder why he never sent the goon squad after Naz boro candidates when they litter the entire town with their signs on utility poles.

Exactly what officer from the borough that lives in the Borough did the chief blackball?? very curious.
It's my understanding it's a current officer blackballing the dept. Any insight???

    ReplyDelete
  48. That person lived his life in the boro, served his country with honor in Iraq, became a police officer, and would like to work in Nazareth. He is #1 0r 2 on the list, and has been blackballed by the Chief.
