Jesus Gregory

If you missed Jim Gregory's first ever show on WGPA Sunny 1100 AM, which based on one phone call seems like a safe bet, you didn't miss much. After a seemingly interminable time delay in connecting Gregory with his one and only caller, Tricia Mezzacappa, he then basically put her on hold. Instead of being the mouth that roared, as he had promised, he whined. At one point, he did compare himself to Jesus Christ.

His improbable guest was Allentown attorney Leighton Cohen, who recently represented Gregory's ex-girlfriend in the Protection from Abuse Act Petition (PFA) Petition that ultimately sent the not-so-shock jock to jail for three weeks. If not unethical, Cohen's decision was in very poor taste, diminishing both his former client and her claims. But Cohen was the one person who had anything to say. He probably prevented Gregory from crossing the line into libel territory.

Cohen claims to have handled "hundreds" of PFAs, and stated he thinks he is the first attorney to file a PFA in Lehigh County.

Gregory spent most of the time talking about PFAs, portraying himself as the victim of a mob whipped up by Bill White and yours truly. Judge Zito was likened to Pontius Pilate, while Gregory was Jesus Christ. I don't know who plays Barabbas.

When Cohen disagreed with Gregory's analogy, he told the barrister he won't be welcome back as a guest. He also pointed out that, as a Jew, Cohen doesn't understand.

Gregory also stated that Cohen represented his ex-girlfriend "pro boner." ... "She was hot and he took the case," claimed Gregory.

"You can't talk about your case," Cohen warned him at one point.."You're going to end up exactly where you don't want to be."

Aside from one gold seller, Gregory had no sponsors. He dunned his radio audience for contributions to his UNITY PAC, which he claimed is being formed by Matt Croslis. That's funny. I though Croslis was Lehigh County Executive.

Although he dismissed Tricia Mezzacappa's call today, he vowed to have her back to call me a clearly dangerous and violent predator.

During his three weeks in jail, Gregory claims he saw first hand all the corruption in Northampton County from his perch in protective custody.

He also touched on the First Amendment. He complained that a blogger named Bernie O'Hare trashes Tricia Mezzacappa day after day, week after week, but nothing is done about it. "How comes I don't have protection under the First Amendment, but O'Hare does?" asked Gregory. He claimed that I've made up about 50-60 characters to destroy lives, but that Judge Zito unfairly dismissed Mezzacappa's PFA against me.

No corruption was exposed. No revelations of any kind, except that Gregory is the Messiah.

  3. I listened to about 20 minutes of that garbage and had enough. It was the worst radio show I have ever heard. A complete train wreck! JG babbled incoherently, used "um" and "uh" to oblivion, and just wanted to display his persecution complex ad nauseum. He was a narcisstic nut job on full display. Jolly Joe should be ashamed of himself for allowing this awful program to be aired. It was amateur hour hosted by a deeply disturbed man.

  4. Sponsored by "Unity PAC"? What is that? Nothing registered with the state. That is fraud right there. So, Gregory must be running a scam to shake down donors to fund his radio show and to pay for things like his new haircut (which he likes a lot). This is only going to get worse. Won't be long before he starts making real death threats against certain public and private figures. Probably happen when he gets into an extended conversation with that nutbag Mezzacappa.

  5. So the show waas a big flop. Didn't you ever fail at something. So he isn't Jesus Christ. Everytime I see him coming my way I hear someone say, Jesus Christ here he comes again. A lot of people think he is Jesus Christ. that's only one step down from his real identity. GOD.
Truth of the matter is that he has not learned his court lessons very well. He brings his battered accuser's attorney on his show hoping to get redemption and it blows up in his face. What an idiot. Then he doesn't let Mezzacappa talk after spending valuable airtime trying to connect her to his talk show. Truth of the matter is, you are going to be in a lot of trouble Bernie. This is one of the most hilariuos shows I've heard on the radio in quite some time. It is going to become quite popular for its humor. Everyone will be listing to it. No substance, all humor. I can't wait until tomorrow when he starts trashing the Bethlehem Cops and the Mayor. CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU.

Like I said, When the PAC money is spent, his show is finished. Jolly Joe apparently needs money and he'll accept it from whoever is willing to steal it.

  9. Gregory did not compare himself to Christ or take the shot at Jews. But , as usual, you spina na dspinn OHare. You got one thing right. Cohen did diminish his former client's credibility because he knows she was never credible. That's why the bethlehem Police and the DA are dumping her pathetic charges of violation of privacy. I find it hilarious that you are already crying libel, when you do it second after second to him , mezzacappa, and many others. Gregory, I'm sure , will respond and rip you to shreds. Your only response, this pathetic little crap piece of blog will get crushed by his show and so will you. can't wait. Cohen disagreed with all your fake characters above. he's smarter than all your fake selves and he said it was an awesome show. You sick and twisted freak, your days are numbered..Say goodbye!!!!!

  10. He did claim some sort of contribution from people at the Sands Event Center. Someone should look into that. I doubt the management wants to be mentioned on the Jim Christ Show.

    Barabbas free and loving it.

  16. Just a simple observation after listening to whatever that was on the radio this morning...it was said that the show is being sponsored by the Unity PAC and that other non profit fund that will be used to help charitable groups like the Boys and Girls Clubs. So, does that mean if I give money to the charitable group that my money will be used to sponsor a radio show of stupidity and not help any charitable organizations? Geez, that should get some huge donbations rolling in. I think he has a better chance of funding through bets at Mount Airy and the Sands.
I also had a real hard time with his comment that the prisoners in Norco are being treated badly. Aren't they prisoners? Didn't they do something wroing in society to have themselves be sent there?
I guess we gotta tune in while we can. This excellence in talk radio may not be around by next week!

  17. If you are so curious that you listen to his show, you are just giving him ratings. I have no interest in him or in helping him by listening to him. Trish as usual trashes Bernie on this blog. Coming from her who would believe anything she says. Jim lied under oath so that and his lack of any character discredits him every time. What a joke these two are. The prisoners have in pretty good there. Too many keep coming back. They get a roof, hot meals that are constantly being under scrutiny with all of their complaints. Healthcare, vision, eye are and the officers do not treat them bad in any way. All this on the taxpayers back. If you are struggling out there this sounds pretty damn good. JG is a victim so he will complain......

  18. Good ever-lovin' Lord, what is Jolly Joe thinking? Hubby and I blissfully slept in until 9am, so we missed the debut airing of this debacle, but from the description, I have to admit the whole thing sounds pretty scary.

My observation is that folks like Gregory and TM are not all that rare these days...drugs, or alcohol, or sociopathy, or what have you...we see an amazing saga unfolding right where we live, due to Pennsylvania's refusal to have any oversight whatsoever over the condominium scam. Nope, Gregory is just one of many such, and the people who are stupid and gullible enough to bow to them are even scarier, IMHO.

  19. Although it pained me, I tuned in briefly in hopes of hearing Gregory's revelations, of which there were none. One would think that an individual who wants to encourage sponsors to spend their hard earned money on a show like this, would at least take the time to familiarize themselves with the process and the equipment. "get crushed by the show" ---really? Gregory, you need a shrink now and if you do seek help, perhaps the court will show some leniency on your miserable ass, although God knows you don't deserve it. Keep poking your finger in the snake's face (Northampton County) and the snake will send your sorry ass back to the cellblock. Keep pushing asshole. No really, I want to see you back in the can!!!

  20. Members of the hate hut, word is Jolly Joe is very pleased with Gregory and has been in contact with various local merchants and orgs about sponsoring the show which is going to expand in length in the near future. So you will be getting a lot more of him if thats what your twisted minds desire. Harvey was there too with Gregory and Harvina is set to appear on the next show. Sunny 1100 is just a stepping stone to bigger things, gotta learn to crawl before you can walk

  28. Harvey was on point all show! Jim G played some Michael Bolton and even had Jolly Joe in studio to help out with technical difficulties. I won't miss tomorrows show for any reason it is really compelling radio and he is going to let more secrets out over time. I learned a lot about the man Jim G is, he has a sharp wit and is only going to get better at the helm of his show.
Donate to Unity PAC and help out if you can, donations big and small are appreciated.

  34. Explain this to me please. How can the lawyer for the person Gregory abused, be on Gregory's radio show? Was he there sticking up for Gregory or representing his client? How can he do that and not jeopardize his client lawyer confidentiality? There is something wrong with this picture but I can't quite put my finger on it. Is this legal? Is thios a caase of ethics be damned? Is this a violation of his lawyer client confidentiality? Shouldn't someone take a look at this attorney's actions? How can he represent the abused in court after appearing on Gregory's show? Did she fire him? Is this a case of the attorney abandoning his client? What the hell is going on in the legal profession?

  35. I won't speak to the ethics of the matter, but as I said in my story, Cohen's behavior was in very poor taste.

  40. Hey Bernie, Morganelli asked people in other counties to please contact him about circulating his petitions. He got a reply from Jesus Gregory telling John that despite your disgusting blog he was willing to help Morganelli. John can go on his show. He wants John to make an appointment with him to go over the campaign.

    He can't possibly lose now.

By the way, he said you are for another day. Will you be calling in? lol8

This show was MUCH more easy to hear, seemed more prepared.
