The Wit and Wisdom of Chief Mark Kessler

With a black T-Shirt bearing a Confederate flag on one side and "Liberals Take it in the Ass" on the back (rear?), Gilberton police chief Mark Kessler has a few remarks about "libtards," as he so sensitively refers to Commies like John Kerry.

"Libtards, you take it in the ass, and I don't give a fuck what you say, so youse can all go fuck yourselves. Period."

In the ass, I would assume.

Gilberton is nestled between Frackville and Shenandoah in Schuylkill County, within a stone's throw from where my parents grew up. According to the 2010 census, its population is 769.

There's only one black person, although he could be a white dude covered with coal dust.

For just $25, you can become a member of his Constitutional Security Force, fighting against anti-American organizations like the Southern Povery Law Center. You also get a certificate suitable for framing, access to firearms training, two CSF bumper stickers and a 10% discount on 30 round C-product Aluminum AR/M16 magazines.

Who could pass up a deal like that?

Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta' go take it up the ass.

  1. Coal crackers are great people. I spent a lot of time in Shenandoah as a young boy with my grandparents. My first girlfriend at about age 4 was a few doors away. These are good people. Don't let the Chief fool you.

  3. Let's be clear. These guys are nUtZ. But the SPLC devolved into a political fringe hate group a long time ago. They have their own problems.

  4. This Police Officer sound's like one of the indigenous, inbred hillbillies of the area. When they show you a picture of their wife & sister....there is only 1 woman in it.

  6. Why is that somebody who actually has a few things right, such as corporations controlling government, loss of privacy, the threat of liberty from The Patriot Act, etc., have to make themselves nutjobs by spouting the unbelievable. I listened to one of Chief Kessler's podcasts, that had gun rights attorney Joshua Prince as a co-host.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_ZBhmfcwy04

Most of it was pretty bizarre. The most outlandish:

11:00 minutes in, Prince and Kessler share a theory that the flight that crashed on landing in San Francisco was caused by our government, which remotely took control of the plane they say was originally bound for Mexico, because they thought whistleblower Snowden was on board.

Later, Kessler states we're in Nazi Germany and the ovens are coming.

I had assumed attorney Prince was just the typical lawyer who would take a case as long as he got paid. Prince is as big a nut as Kessler, only he has a license to practice law.

BTW, Kessler claims he will be bringing 1 Million followers to Washington DC the first week of September. That doesn't include the people that other groups will be bringing.

  10. Check out other youtube videos searching Gilberton. It appears council is somewhat hostile towards govermement. Not that often you see a council close a meeting playing the battle hymn of the republic on a harmonica. I have to believe this coal region town receives their fair share of federal benefits.

Scary that as a Chief and school board member he is entrusted to make good decisions.

You probably can get elected by fewer than 50 Votes.

This guy gives Coalcrackers a bad name.

  11. What I don't understand is why this borough of 769 people has its own police chief, while Lower Macungie Township seems to get by fine with the PSP.

Lower Macungie will soon be paying for its police service. I understand the bill either will or has passed. These wealthy townships have to start paying their fair share.

  18. While this guy seems radical, he does make some sense.

That's the problem. He makes some sense on certain issues that the majority of Americans may be in agreement on, but IS radical on other issues and conspiracy theories that loses people who aren't so nuts. He has the rights of the 1st and 2nd Amends. I just don't think he should be using his title of "Chief (of police)," while stating he is defending those rights as a private citizen.

    ReplyDelete
  19. He is basically using the color of his office to advance his political beliefs. The problem is that, as a police officer, he is a professional witness whose credibility can be challenged at all times. I suspect he's be torn apart in a court room, especially if he ever arrested a black person. That's why police officers should never put themselves in situations where their personal beliefs can be scrutinized. He has every right to express himself, but has essentially ruined himself as a witness.

  20. "Mezzacappa is just a nut with a gun. This clown is a nut with many guns and a badge. Who do you fear more?" 12:05 AM

    Honestly, Mezzacappa.

Surprisingly, Kessler has made the statement numerous times that he has no desire to take a life and that he would never fire the first shot (in his belief a revolution is coming).

Mezza, we know, seems to look forward to the opportunity of killing another human being.

  21. He shot someone's old Black Lab in front of their house. The guys a dangerous loose cannon. He shouldn't be anywhere near a gun, let alone a badge. He has said that all liberals, approximately one half of this country, should be sodomized.
The Justice Department should step in here. He has the impulse control of a mouse. DANGEROOUS!

    ReplyDelete
  22. He shoots at targets that he names after United States Senators. He calls the Secretary of Stae a trader. He has a right to do this as a person. As a police chief and a public official, he's a joke and a disgrace.

  24. Many of these towns have has a surge on Hispanics. The tensions run high. I don't know if that is the case up there but it would certainly account for the hostility.

Bernie is right. This guy ruins his credibility as a cop and any arrest or Heaven forbid violent act he commits as a police officer will be viewed very suspiciously by the courts. He is the right wing version of Jim Gregory.

Amazing that he is the very asshole he accuses libtards of being.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ironically, not that long ago, he arrested and charged a borough council member with harassment after he called the chief and the Matyor to complain about go-karts or something of that sort. The Council member used foul language and was charged with harassment. But the Chief repeatedly uses foul language and points to the First Amendment.

    The charges, incidentally, were dismissed.

  26. "Honestly, Mezzacappa."

I wasn't aware of all the Kessler history. I'll have to retract my previous decision and say, Kessler. Though Mezzacappa isn't that far behind. She'd be worse, if she had a badge and the authority of it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. This conservtard is bad enough. Just made up the word, what the Hell. If Mezzacappa ever gets a badge other than from a Cracker jack box, I an off to the Maple Leaf paradise of Canada.

  28. I actually don't know what the big deal is about his spouting off these beliefs??? They sound almost identical to many of the opinions expressed by my in-laws with whom I've argued for years...yet, those in-laws call me crazy. (and people wonder why I get so incensed). perhaps, they should've been lsitening 20 years ago. would've saved both of us a lot of aggravation!.

  29. Edgar,

Your massing of illegal files on people is most distrubing. The average Joe Shmo would be in handcuffs instantly, having maliciously stolen the identity of another, and torturing the victim by posting it online....

quite the maneuver that the cuffs havent been slapped on you yet though....you must be an amazing true to life cocksucker...how does John Kerry prefer you do it? On your knees , or on airforce one?

Does Panto like the free felatio? He's protecting you like a Prince...or is it that you just get giddy, when your 100 lb drum full of diarrhea leaks all over the community like radioactive waste, getting law enforcement officers fired in a snap?

Tell me, how many more law enforcement officers do you and CUNT devil worship queen Kelly Gross plan to sabotage before someone does the ultimate deed to you both??? You do know exactly what I am talking about, dont you?

Is this pure entertainment for you? Did fuckrtard Angle give you permission to assault the 2nd amendment with these latest rants???? Yes, Angle with 600 firearms...oops after his son opened fire at a car full of people...but he still has 'em...

    Better get started, Mezzacappa.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Edgar is the most recent name Mezzacappa was calling me before her blog went poof. Mezzacappa would be the only person I could think of who hates both me AND Kelly Gross. Mezzacappa is the only person I can think of who would say that we should worry about the "ultimate deed" being inflicted on us.

I'll ask Mezzacappa to explain it in court.

  40. If I may add, The 2nd. Amendment is bigger than any individual personalized version of interpretation of it. This man Mr.Kessler has his version and maybe his point is about as out of line as Mr. Obama's appointments based on socialist agenda and pure politics ,money given and not competence! Now I would have to say that Mr.Kessler is letting it be known, he will not tolerate any constitutional infringement via monkey business by the White House. He is making no bones about where he is and what he feels about our rights in this country. Thank you all for your understanding.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Also, I will now grip about rank structures. One of the reasons for a ranking is to allow a mental forecast as how some individual fits into grouping. So, Chief implies supervision ,leadership, honor wisdom, even elder. Now lots of folks carry CEO of Mucky Muck Co.and one guy IS it? ok if it works, but misleading, be honest. Example ,and Marine or Army Infantry Captain this would be an 0-3 supervises maybe up to 120 people with different MOS's and he has to know all their jobs and have a BA and down range time first. Now we have people running around with FULL BIRD 06 insignia in police work or Emergency Management that could not even pass for a recycling clerk in a dump someplace! Bird 06's are vetted ,Masters degrees ,combat time and publications. Clearances and other personal ringer stuff you can't imagine. So I have a problem with Chief if you don't supervise people .

  46. This guy should be fired. Like it or not, when you are a public employee you are held to a different standard. Especially when one is in law enforcement. He is a radical that uses legitimate issues and twists them into a personal conquest or crusade.

He would be well advised to check himself into therapy and get a full psych social evaluation. He also needs to follow through w any recommendations. But that won't happen, because he seems like another sociapath.

  47. Thanks for sticking up for PC. He has a big but fragile ego. I hate to see his feelings hurt.

  48. "Now I would have to say that Mr.Kessler is letting it be known, he will not tolerate any constitutional infringement via monkey business by the White House."

Who cares what Kessler will "tolerate"? We have laws and we have courts to decide issues of constitutional infringement. That's what happened in the Heller case. Justice Scalia said there is an individual right to bear arms, and also said 2nd Amendment rights are not unlimited. Scalia said reasonable firearms regulations are permitted.

Kessler has a right to his opinion but his violent tone and coarse language, in my opinion, undermines his credibility. Attorney Prince should know better. He demonstrates a serious lack of judgment by endorsing Kessler's extreme rhetoric and bizarre behavior.

  65. Edgar,

Is this latest anti 2a rant a memorail; service to when Ron ANgle used to be a Republican?

Is it confirmation that he has finally done the right thing and switched to the democrat party, and sent all of his guns to ethiopia (for charity)?

Or did he sell them all to pay off his $1.3 million judgement for being an anti-american cocksucker, just like you?

Or did he sell them to Chief Kessler who took all 600 guns for $6,000.00

Or is it because he has been banned as a nutcase from every gun range in the county, and censured by the Sportsman???

Or is it because he is presntly giving free felatio to callahan in umison with yourself, so you dont lose your places at the courthouse files when Stoffa takes the walk of shame on January 1, 2014?

  66. Mezzacappa, I will be sure to discuss this with you next Monday.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Bernie - I wonder how long Tricia Mezzacappa has been a Second Amendment activist. Did she grow up around guns? How old was she when she got her first gun? Did she own a gun when she lived in NJ? Did she own a gun when her ex-fiance was allegedly stalking her? Why didn't she obtain a LTCF until 2012? Her threatening comments (hollow point bullets, etc.) and irresponsible behavior (open carry at GOP fundraiser, etc.) make me wonder whether a gun is just her newest, attention-getting fashion accessory. I think she's using the Second Amendment for her own selfish and petty reasons just like she was on both sides of the Gracedale issue for her own selfish and petty reasons.

    ReplyDelete
  68. So far as I know, she only became a Second Amendment nut in 2012.

  70. I sit on a board of a statewide gun rights group here in PA. This guy spoke at a gun rights meeting I attended in Bucks and said he selectively enforces the law, especially DUI arrests as he sees fit. He is dangerous and frankly makes 2A supporters look bad. Most of the serious gun rights advocates I know (members of the GOA and NRA) cringe when they see him.

He is definitely looking to provoke some kind of incident between himself and a federal agency.

BTW Bernie - I haven't checked out your site for a awhile due to the demands of life and then in the last few weeks have been hearing about wild stuff posted here. Your coverage of the Tricia/Gregory sagas is epic and sad at the same time. Easily the best blog in PA. I won't miss it anymore.

  71. Thanks.

I will tell you, as something of a "libtard" when it comes to the Second Amendment, that the people I find most persuasive are the sportsmen. After the tragedy at Newtown, I was reeling and wondering about outright bans and things of that sort. Then I spoke to Mike Topping, who is president of the NC Sportsmen clubs. He gave me a real education about so-called assault rifles and the stupidity of some of the proposals being made. At the same time, he agreed that a tighter grip is needed on letting firearms fall into the hands of mentally unstable people. I have also spoken to an open carry guy in Allentown who told me he thinks anyone who has a license or open carries should be required to go thru periodic firearms safety training. he explained he practices once every two weeks.
