Terrorist Columnist Pans Jim Gregory Mayoral Campaign

Just a few months ago, when the Morning Call's Bill White took Northampton County's political Controller to task, Fake Rev Mario Martinez issued a fatwā. "He is now viewed by We The People as a terrorist columnist," proclaimed the phony preacher. Looks like it might be time for another malediction, maybe with incense or a human sacrifice this time. In his Saturday column, the terrorist columnist pretty much destroyed any hope Jim Gregory had of becoming Bethlehem's next Mayor. But on the bright side for Gregory, the Pentagon wants to use his "Ain't No Sunshine" YouTube video as a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

Last Thursday, Gregory announced he was running for Bethlehem Mayor as an Independent. But to do that, he would have had to be registered as an Independent no later than April 22. Voting records show that Gregory, a former Bethlehem City Council President, voted as a Democrat on May 21.

He can still wage a write-in campaign.

It's been a busy few weeks this LV Labor Council VP. A Protection From Abuse Act Order (PFA) and criminal harassment charges have been filed against him for assaulting his girlfriend. He's already been cited with contempt for continuing to contact her. He also faces disciplinary action for his bizarre behavior in his job as a Northampton County mental health human services caseworker. He has publicly called for his boss and his boss's boss to be fired. He also is demanding that Executive John Stoffa resign. Any person taking him to task is threatened. He has threatened repeatedly to sue me, to strangle me at a Council meeting, to make sure I am "gone from this earth," etc.

As Gregory would say, LOL.

He hasn't physically threatened White yet, but is hinting at a suit against The Morning Call for linking to this blog.

LOL.

  1. I rigged my computer to loop Gregory's youtube video constantly. Can you imagine listen to the damn video non-stop for 8 hours? That is worse than water-boarding. I would confess to anything as long as it got turned off. lol.8

  2. Is this Gregory guy smart? How can a guy who works for the government run for office even as a write-in? Doesn't he have to resign?

Also who is he all suing? I thought he was suing the mayor and the Bethlehem police.

This campaign thing seems very confused.

  12. That's how the Fake Rev signed his latest post, in an attempt (1) to fool people into thinking he has follower she does not; and (2) to distance himself from the hate he expresses, while pretending to be a Christian.

  14. Bernie,

Did you notice that Gregory's comments about waging a write in campaign were basically verbatim what jimmania wrote 2days ago on the first story announcing his bid. Pretty much confirms to me that they are one in the same.

  15. Isn't Tommfollery and Jimmania both Jim Gregory?

  16. Yes. He comments under both of those names. "Tomfoolery" comes from a Bill White column about him. Must have pissed him off. "Mania" is a word often used to describe him.

  17. Well think of all the fodder Bernie! I see a bright future with a bunch of loonies running against each other. The one guy can't even decide on a party. I remember the quote "we are no longer for the Dems or Republicans we are now onlt for the people "the working man"

What a few wonderful month we have ahead of us. Jimmy already called Callahan's people all kind of names so I would expect it to be up from here. Although I still would like to know what category is what.
