Fleck Rules Out Seat on Allentown City Council

"A proper bastard"
In next year's state house race, there will be a new district for South Allentown's growing Hispanic population. The frontrunner, of course, is Gringo Pete Schweyer. He can spend a few years pretending to care about poor people, just like Jenn Mann faked it. Then he can follow her footsteps to make the big bucks as a ... "consultant."

So who will take over Schweyer's seat on Allentown City Council? Over the weekend, Council Prez Julio Guridy and King Edwin, at a meeting of Democrats, floated a familiar name Mike Fleck. He's their campaign manager and does intend to relocate to Allentown imminently , if he has not done so already.

But the Fleckster has vetoed this idea.

"If nominated, I will not run; if elected, I will not serve," he told me in his best William Tecumsek Sherman imitation. Sherman, a Northern General during the Civil War, is the proper bastard who promised, "I will make Georgia howl!" He did, too, burning Atlanta to the ground.

Fleck denies he has any plans to burn Allentown. He just wants to transform it. He claims too busy growing his business and getting candidates elected to even think about seeking office for the foreseeable future.

  1. Funny. I thought the Fleckster was in the waste management business. I remember that he was real big with dumpsters a while back. Maybe I am confused.

  3. I'm certain that Dictator Pawlowski will appoint new citizen Fleck to a useful post immediately. The Dictator has City Council and all the appointed board and commissions answering directly to him at this point.

I hope if Schweyer does get the new seat in the legislature, that he works to end the pervasive racial segregation in Lehigh County's public schools. Funny how Jennifer Mann and other Democrats never had a problem with the rich getting new all white schools with best equipment, while the poor get stuck in dirty violence plagued schools without enough money even for basic textbooks.

  7. "Big bucks consultant?"

In this day and age, "consultant" means unemployed.

  9. Pawlowski ran the ethnics and their babel out of center city. Nobody wants to hear that foreign shit when enjoying a hockey night with the family. Greeting, Fleck and Pawlowski all knew this and should be applauded for cleaning out the jibber jabbering bilge in order to improve Allentown. Allentown will be returned to its All American status by these Progressive visionaries.

  11. I'm not a bigot, proud US Veteran who fought for this country and the english language.

Common language is key to all civilized individual countries.

Anon, yes because of narrow minded bigots like you!

  12. Not a hatred of the language or it's people but their intolerance towards accepting the english language as ours! I mean theirs...

Wiki says: Bigotry is the state of mind of a bigot. Begs the question?

  14. It is pretty much a nonstory, I agree. I posted it to counter a rumor that a Lehigh County Dem is circulating. Basically. it's a "nip it in the bud" story.
