Will the Republican candidate be there? Or is the so-called non-partisan LWV making a presumption?

  4. Brown would look like a ringleader next to the clown car with the three stooges on stage.

  5. No reason for Brown at this one since his is the presumptive R nominee.

  6. The teabaggers once again gettong all emotional. Before you boys get a case of the vapors, the LWV will have a debate in the Fall between the two candidates of the Party's.

    Get a grip fellas.

  11. Saw the latest Reibman TV ad slamming Callahan. People are getting to know the real Johnny Callahan and his approval ratings are dropping through the floor.

  12. man, the haters are out in force on this one. it's not enought that they hate callahan, now they have to hate some unnamed individual.

  14. Time for Johnny to talk aobut th real issues confromnting the county. This isn't town politics.

The Human Services Department alone has a bigger budget and moer employees than bedlum. How you feel about that one Johnny?

Stoffa has all but decimated it but you will get a new needless and expenmsive building to pay for with money the Department doesn't have, how about that?

  16. serlWhat the county should have done was build a new building for gracedale residents and county services leaving the old building for DUI residents and deadbeat dads.Hell they could have sold the old building to Abe A.

  17. Whoever wins will have the most difficult task of cleaning up the huge messes that this past administration has created. Human Services needs a director that actually knows as has worked in the field. Cutting staff and vital services to county residents is not only shameful but detrimental to our society. People need to wake up and see what exactly is going on in NorCo and speak up and advocate.

  18. The comment above is nonsense. Over the last 8 years, I have yet to see a single complaint made publicly about the direction of NorCo human services. I have yet to see a single person, other than cRzaZy Jim Gregory, stand up and complain about Marcus. And since Gregory thinks so little of his clients that he uses them as props during Council meetings, he's hardly an example I wold think anyone would want to emulate

There has been a change in human services, but it is a change in philosophy. I will speak about that in more detail soon.

  19. Yes thje change is selling off huge portions of HS. Also the fear of getting fired. People like Gregory put themselves in the crosshairs, the rest of us won't do that.

The big change in philosophy is a non-knowledgable Direcotr letting Division Heads do as they please. The result is an oveerbudget Department going in six different directions at once.

After eight years,Marcus is still inept.

  20. Yes not counting the hundreds of people who have complained about how Gracedale was treated, management staff behabvior, the loss of many formerly county services, no one is upset.

Christ O'Hare, how about a New Years Resolution to stop kissing azz and report some of the truth.

  21. Like I said, these anonymous comments about human services have never been made, not even once, during any meeting of County Council, with the exceptions of Gregory's occasional rants. This is because it is nonsense.
