Major Award |
About 100 times, he's asked me to step outside and take a look at it.
Now he's beside himself with joy. On Wednesday, he received word that the Courthouse has been selected for a major award by the Greater LV Chamber of Commerce on April 18.
Congratulations! The Northampton County Courthouse in Easton has been selected as a recipient of a 2013 Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber Commerce Commercial Real Estate Development (CRED) Award. You and your partners in the project will be honored at our Commercial Real Estate Outlook event on Thursday, April 18, 2013. The event takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, (I-78 at Route 100) 7736 Adrienne Drive, Breinigsville, PA.It cost County taxpayers nothing.
Of course not, the grant fairy made the money.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should have cut off our nose to spite our face, eh?
ReplyDelete"frageeelay. must be italian"
ReplyDeleteUnless there's a magic money tree growing somewhere, it cost taxpayers lots of money.
ReplyDeleteIt cost the taxpayers in loss of employees (?) working for at least 3-4 hours whilst dining free on chamber member's dues...
ReplyDeleteMaybe Controller Barron should do an audit of the time stoffa wastes attending this event honoring the county and assess him. That could be his next witch hunt.
ReplyDeleteTwo bad that while Stoffa was fixing the historical features fru fru, he didn't bother with the maintainence of the Wolf building.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Chamaber(with Angles urging) giving Stoff an award. Will also give him the slum landlord of the year award for letting the Wolf building rot for the past seven years.
bitter much?
ReplyDeleteSure do draw the worst of the worst Bernie. Too bad SToffa`s predessor couldn`t find $500,000 of the $111 million dollar bond to repair the cupola.
ReplyDeleteNow we have a nice cupola but he let the Wolf and Bechtel building rot. Thats OK, county council gave him a new $25 million overpriced and unneeded building. That money sure could have paid for some services he has cut over the past seven years.
ReplyDeleteWhen you want your name on a building what are a few poor smones withourt adequarte county services.
Good work Johnny!
Love the pic. Maybe stick the lamp in the judge's rotunda?
