Wheeler Makes it Three

Lance Wheeler, a constable and former courthouse security officer, yesterday announced his intentions to run for Gay Elwell's District Judge seat. This seat is also being sought by Easton Attorney Antonia Grifo and City Code Enforcement Officer Sharbell Koorie. Fighting off a cold, I missed Lance's announcement, but The Express Times has a good story.

  1. Brace makes it three time is a charm. Wheeler makes three people in the contest.

  2. One of the comments at the article was a hidden racist remark. Wheeler is "not election material, unless its in D.C.".

  4. 5:51, If you feel a racist remark was made at The ET site, please deal with it there. Don't bring it up here. I have enough trouble policing the slurs posted here.

That comment does appear to me to be racist. Complain to the ET.

  8. Searching for an address for Wheeler's headquarters. Anyone have any ideas where I can find the address or what it may actually be? Possibly want to make a donation to his campaign.

  9. I copied this from his facebook page

We will be accepting campaign contributions by paypal and square soon.

In the meantime, checks can be mailed to the campaign headquarters at 680 Wolf Ave., Easton, Pa 18042. Please make checks payable to "Friends of Lance Wheeler".

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
