Tricia Mezzacappa claims she's so full of drugs she's incompetent to stand trial in my defamation case against her. She was also recently convicted of disorderly conduct, after threatening to drag West Easton Borough Council President Kelly Gross to the Delaware River and drown her. Yet she's still sane enough to run for Northampton County Council.
I'm sure Republicans are thrilled.

It is my pleasure to announce that I will seek a seat on county council in the upcoming election, and look forward to a safe, healthy and happy campaign season. I would like to offer my opinion on the Human Services new building project. Just don't do it. West Easton Borough is taxing me out of my home, and one more tax dollar raised is a very bad idea. I see an expensive lease as a very poor use of taxpayer money. If you would like to sell the Betchtel and Wolf Buildings, I encourage that. I would use the proceeds to build an extension onto Gracedale by competitive bid, and bond out the rest if you must. I realize that the county human services employees prefer a more posh environment to work in, however, they should all be grateful to have a decent job with a steady paycheck in this god awful economy. Tough it out, and do this the right way. NO Lease. Please forward to Peg, her email didn't send.

Why do you think the "Tea Party" Republicans, so quick to want to dump Gracedale, have signed on to an unnecessary, overly expensive new building. ReplyDeleteEven if voters were to agree with Mezzacappa on the building project, any candidate should be weighed and measured by more than one issue. It's scary to even imagine this woman being elected, appointed, or even hired in a role that would have her dealing with the public, let alone making rational decisions involving policy.
ReplyDeleteYou only need to visit her blog (if you can call it that) and see that she has some serious problems. She is vindictive, insulting, and shameless in how she writes about anyone that disagrees with her. She supplied her own negative campaign against herself and the one thing about the Internet is that it is forever. She can't permanently delete what she supplied for the public to see.
Politics is not where she belongs and I imagine the GOP will distance themselves from her quickly. I'm sure they realize that she is a huge liability for any GOP candidate in the Lehigh Valley.
I wonder what her campaign office address is? I would like to send her a campaign donation of Wellbutrin and Lithium for her entire headuarters of campaign office workers. ReplyDeleteIf Tricia Mezzacappa is afraid to be in the same room with Bernie O'Hare, as he claims in court filings, why did she decide to run for this particular public office? She knows O'Hare is a fixture at County Council meetings. In those court filings, she says she suffers from situational anxiety in the presence of O'Hare. She says her anxiety is so bad she would have to testify by closed circuit TV from another location rather than inhabit the same courtroom as O'Hare. My conclusion is Mezzacappa actually suffers from situational veracity, not situational anxiety.

ReplyDeleteHer only chance is to RTKL everything she can about the existing county council and the financing. She has to find a smoking gun that gives her an issue she can focus the people's attention on and divert attention away from her own shortcomings.
She should start by requesting information on council members' submitted expenses for reimbursement, financial interests, and other county issues. She should submit these RTKL requests on a daily basis, perhaps submitting more than 1 each day in order to keep the county council too busy to wage any type of campaign against her.
She'll need to attend every county council meeting and contributing her thoughts when the public comment portion of those meetings gives her the opportunity to be heard.
We realize that she won't be able to give West Easton her knowledge and expertise on issues close to home, as she embarks on her quest to improve our county, but we're willing to make the sacrifice in order that she might do, on a county level, what she's done for West Easton.
If she isn't seen at West Easton council meetings, or is unable to submit RTKL requests any longer in West Easton, because of her commitment to running for a county council seat, we of West Easton won't hold it against her.
Go Trish! Stay focused on the county! Show all these naysayers that you are a force to be reckoned with!

I am finished with west easton and their empire of tyranny, tax hikes and waste. In order to be successful in any election there, one must have a 7th grade education, as does Tom Nodoline (who I heard is running for Mayor) or the inability to subsist or harmonize anywhere outside the confines of. 5 mile West Easton. Broad minds who think outside the box are treated like Nelson Mandela, subjected to Marshall Law, and treated like a treasonous war criminal. The current cartel who governs that Borough will all reign on another 50 years until they croak in council chambers, after taxing themselves and all citizenry out their houses. West Easton is on its way to being the most expensive place to live in America.

Kelly Gross has been urged to run since last year. The best Council people are not the ex-teachers or the the legislative aides to state reps and state senators or the true believers who insert themselves into county parties.
ReplyDeleteThe best Council people are those who have served on boro council, a township board, city council, or who has worked and built credibility as a volunteer.
Take a look at the current council. Newbe Bob Werner, an ex-teacher, is a bit of a blowhard. Quarry worker Scott Parsons is light years ahead of him. Difference? Parsons served on a boro council.
The people who works in these small governments really care, do not give a shit about politics. They spend hours making sure that the park is open or the flower pots are watered or the pool is closed or the dog park has bags for dog refuse. Little things. To improve quality of life.
Kelly Gross is one of those people. She has spent countless hours volunteering for her tiny boro. he has been going to meetings since age 7, much like BT Manager Howard Kutzler started his local service working at the Northampton pool. She has spent two years fending off an insaniac and has done so with great class, refusing to lower herself to that person' level.
I know she is being urged to run, and I am one of the persons urging her. But the decision will be hers.

Mezzacappa conducts fishing expeditions at the expense of taxpayers. She has submitted about 140 RTKL's and appeals thus far in West Easton. Actual costs to West Easton have reached $10,000, factoring in staff time, legal fees to answer appeals, and other expenses that are incurred by her abusing the RTKL, in which she can only be charged 25 cents for copies.
Meanwhile, she bitches about taxes rising in a town of 1200 people who have to pay for her personal vendettas.
