Local Dems Gearing Up In Easton


This video was shot by Michael Laws and posted on Youtube, so I am assuming I have permission to post it here. I see Easton District Judge candidates, Northampton County Council candidates and more, getting together on Saturday. Antonia Grifo, Kelly Gross and Deb Hunter are all very attractive women. But the pretty one is Jerry, who looks just like his cousin Amanda Seyfried.

Executive hopeful John Callahan was there, while rivals Glenn Reibman and Lamont McClure passed. They were at the Bob Donchez announcement.

And so was Callahan.

Evil Genius Jim Hickey, who is on Team Callahan's campaign, has obviously created a Callahan Clone.

    Why is Seyfied running for county council? Word is Callahan recruited him to keep others out.

    Given the number of candidates running, that's a pretty stupid thing to say. Seyfried is running bc lots of his friends and supporters asked him to run, and that includes me.

    Jerry always feigns running, then decides against it at the last minute..Won't believe it until the petitions are in...He always palys that game..However, if he does run, the Dems are a lock to take back council, even if no one in Bethlehem votes again as they didnt in the 2009 General election.

    Aside from the centerpiece flag I noticed they have ALL the small American flags on the wall hung backwards! Is this in protest to the broken promises from "The Great One"? (and I don't mean that huge Dunkin Donuts coffee of the same name)
    Surely these flags weren't hung backwards by accident. Democrats in Easton are smarter than that, I think. It must be deliberate. So what's the reason?

    Mike must have gotten there late. I was there and as a new person to politics the most impressive speaker was the mayor of easton. He only spoke a few minutes but his message was clear and to the point. In local elections every vote counts and the best way to get a person to vote for you is to knock on their door and introduce yourself. He said local elections are grass root elections. The rest of his message was equally as inspiring. I also thought the city democratic committee really had their act together. They are definelty engaged in the election process. All in all it was a morning well spent.

    Knock off the crap. I begged him to run against Lamont McClure and he adamantly refused. I begged him to run before and he has steadfastly said No. He is interested in returning to County Council now and we could certainly use him. I can think of no one more knowledgeable about County government than he.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
