Kerry Myers |
Kerry Myers.- You might know him as a former President of Easton's School Board, and one who was honored by the Easton chapter of the NAACP in 2010. I know him as a softball ump.
Thomas O'Donnell - This former Chairman of the Lower Nazareth Supervisors was fired as a state auditor in 1988 for conducting Township business on the state's dime. He appealed that ruling, and it's unclear to me how that matter ended. O'Donnell was an unsuccessful County Council candidate in 2001.

ReplyDeleteThis is great for voters to have such a selection of candidates.
From the Blog Mentor's hate blog at 7:45 am today right around the time of the latest spamming. Coincidence?

Holy disturbing Batman.
ReplyDeleteAnyone in the Easton School District's tax zone knows of Kerry Myers. Under his watch, caused some of the most drastic deficit spending ever. He, Roy Cortez, and Pat Fisher are the main reasons for teacher cuts and the problems that the Easton School District are having now. They wrote checks that could have been paid for then and the District constituents are paying for it now. This is not the kind of man that one would want in a county council seat.
ReplyDeleteHe is a great person and softball umpire. He is just not good for the school board and probably the county council.
Agree. Hold onto your wallets. EASD won't soon recover from the mess he left. I know lots of nice guys who can't do math or manage money. Fiscally, he's a train wreck.
ReplyDeleteDeficit spending... Ok to kill people in war, not ok to educate our kids... got it.
ReplyDeleteFlaming liberal spend everyone else's money. That is Kerry Myers. Vote no to this guy.
ReplyDeleteHey burn as an aside I passed you at the courthouse today, I was picking up Riebman's sad state of a finance report and dropping off my C&R update
ReplyDeleteSeamus
Seamus, whoever you are (Joe Kelly) we get it, you hate Reibman and love Callahan. Are you really fooling anyone?
ReplyDeleteSeamus, You should have said Hi! Sorry I missed you.
ReplyDeleteFolks, Seamus is NOT Joe Kelly.
David, why are you not running for this post ,you got better that 1300 on your SAT score, went to law school and can figure out all the stuff before you need to talk with public. Please run for this post.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you David? If you should run , I will support you. The gambit is lacking some talent and you would be very suitable!Your queries today are because you can not know the bigger picture yet . But when the flack settles on the tarmac you will see that was is being done today was mathematical in this election.I sign my name below.
ReplyDeleteI should have my glasses on at my age , Flobed up statment--you will see that what was done today.....
ReplyDeleteno deficit spending is alright.
ReplyDeleteThe person I was with noticed you, then by the time I turned you were gone.
ReplyDeleteAnon 6:00 no shit.... But am always willing to listen to all opinions.
And I think anyone on Reibmans side just has to look at his record. We will be telling it often, no worries about it getting lost in the shuffle. Our finance report will be out soon....first pass makes it obvious who is in the best position to get their message to the people.
ReplyDeleteThe most interesting thing is Mr Fleck thinking he is some sort of kingmaker playing in the executive race as well as the mayoral (donchez). Maybe he should stay in Lehigh county for awhile
Seamus
It's amazing that we have so many D's running. Where, how, and from who are these candidates going to be able to raise any money to run a campaign? None of them will be able to raise money. They are unknowns or washed up politicos. You need money to get your message across. This blog won't be sufficent.
ReplyDeleteThose are just the ones I know about. But I like the exerts trying to discourage people from running.
ReplyDeleteHey Seamus, Mr. Callahan has a record and oh I assure you that it will be told to the people of Northampton County. In fact all the old Dent mailers are great and that was before he raised taxes and tried to privatize the garbage.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Mr. Callahan will find that the arrogance of his lttle Bethlehem Kingdom will be schattered in the big old county.
Yes anon, mayor Callahan has a record. One that shows him leading Bethlehem through the greats recession while reducing debt and deficits. While delivering better city services with the smallest workforce.
ReplyDeleteAs much as you would like to tag him as a tax and spender Fleck, That dog don't hunt, it would be hilarious having a 70% tax hike generator (who did nothing to fix the basil issue) try to speak on taxes and budgets Read the press a bit. I have literally dozens of such articles already and just began scanning. You dig up pictures of Reibman and a few Dem leaders and think it means anything...lol!!!
I'll take this : Bethlehem Ends 2012 with 1 Million in bank - http://www.mcall.com/news/local/bethlehem/mc-bethlehem-positive-cash-balance-20130115,0,3397446.story
Over this: any day (2nd year in a row I might add) reibman proposes 37.5% tax increase -

Cheers,
Seamus
And please take the time to enjoy the state of the city address thats coming up. It will show how Bethlehem's story of creating jobs and growth continues.
ReplyDeleteNorthampton county deserves the opportunity to move forward not back into the dark days. Each town has its own story and needs, we need someone listening to the uniqueness of the communities in order to help them reach their full potential
Seamus
Why isn't Heckman runing for County Executive? If I had my druthers, I would Druther vote for Heckman than Reibman or Callaghan. Word is Seyfried is definetly out but will run for Council. That leaves the lesser of all evils which is McClure. Sorry Bernie, I would rather vote for McClure than the Tax increase fanatics Reibman and Callagahan.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot one thing. I will not vote for any of these Democrats in the fall. I will vote Republican.
ReplyDeleteYou are going to vote Republican? Are you going to vote for Tricia, Tricia?
ReplyDeleteSorry Semus, no one will give Callahan a pass. From favorabloe treatment of relatioves to shoddy finances, his record is fair game. Many on Behtlehem won't even vote ot him.
ReplyDeleteYou keep looking up those rcords. with all the old Dent mailers on hand, his anti-labort stance plus the latest blunders by little Johnnycakes, the voters will be well informed.
If I had a casino in my backyard..I'd be able to bank a million without even rolling out of bed! Johnny Casino may be cute but it ends right there. Bethlehem can't wait to kick him to the curb. He has had ample time to really pad his stats and he failed to do so. He will win without breaking a sweat..he's cute.
ReplyDeleteI hope he hires some new aides once he gets in Stoffas seat. He should have an easy go with the current council..at least in the short term.
