The Moravian Defect
John is a '77 Moravian grad, so it kinda' makes sense that the college would want to play that up and make itself look like a DA factory. After all, Lehigh and Lafayette have the engineer market tied up.
But here's what Moravian would prefer you forget. I graduated from that school, too. You won't see my puss on a billboard anytime soon, although I might get on a Most Wanted list.
I'm The Moravian Defect.

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
Can you imagine a Catholic priest as a graduate of MC? I lived less than a block from MoMo Vice. They ripped down that house shortly after I graduated and put up a parking lot.

Dear Moravian Defect: this was very funny.
ReplyDeleteYou get an A+ for the ability to poke fun at yourself.
What does one major in to become a bottom feeding blogger?
Anything, but it's preferable to flunk out.
ReplyDeleteCan't blame them for not wanting to shine the spotlight on you. After all, isn't it in their best interest to publicize "success" stories, and not failures??
ReplyDeleteDon't have much of a sense of humor, do you?
ReplyDeleteBernie, where was that photo taken?
ReplyDeleteIs that the locked wing of the hospital?
If it is, it is very appropriate, and probably a good place for you to get some rest and relaxation when the cares and worries of blogging become too much to bear.
This was one of your funniest posts ever.
Makes one wonder who else would be in the ad campaign for Moravian Defects? Someone could break into the historic admissions files and they could do another, "Moravian Rejects."
