Defense means trying to protect oneself. Doesn't sound like Simmons needs to protect himself. Sounds like this other guy does. Is defense the right word to use here?

This isn't much, in today's economy. It's not worth it.
What do you expect....Simmons was a political staffer for a few years before becoming a rubber stamp for Mike Turzai and Tom Corbett. Bob Mensch's protege is doing a fine job carrying that tea party anchor through the 131.

Anyone who thinks Brennan is an anyone-pummling anything is a horse's ass. Brennan has always represented the Lehigh Valley's interest in the state house. He is a good man and there are two sides to every story.
