State House Candidates To Debate in Wind Gap

On October 9, at the Wind Gap Fire Hall, 7 pm, the Slate Belt Chamber of Commerce will host a candidates' night for state house candidates. Incumbents Joe Emrick and Marcia Hahn will square off against their challengers, Joe Capozzolo and Leslie Altieri. I will provide more details as they emerge.

  2. Remember Joe Cap is a DINO. He did nothing for 8 years as Mayor of Bangor. Nothing!

  6. Just being Mayor of any borough for 8 years is doing SOMETHING. Anonymous critiques is doing less than nothing.

  7. I have watched Joe Cap's participation in our community as an employer, a mayor, and an advocate of veteran rights. He has actively made our area a better place to live. He really cares and whoever says otherwise is simply uninformed.

  8. That means a lot coming from someone who will not even identify themselves. Nice try Joe..

  9. Dave Houser continues to suck the life out of Bangor. mayor Brown is taking $10,000 of tax dollars this week for training at Notre Dame. What a waste of money. Have heard he is quitting before the end of his term. Cant handle the heat. Bangor is sinking folks. Man the lifeboats!

You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
