Supervisor Jack Nagle made this announcement during a brief meeting of Supervisors on September 11, following a flag retirement ceremony.
Supervisors also granted My Boys Baking permission to operate its biscotti biz at 310 Stoke Park Road. This unanimous decision follows an August 28 hearing in which Attorney Joe Piperato clearly established that no one is offended by cookies.
In other business, Hanover Supervisors approved plans for a Traditions of America residential development on Bridle Path Road, located next to the St. Francis Retreat Center. Sister Bonnie Marie, O.S.F., thanked supervisors for their work in creating a conservation easement along the Monocacy Creek. "This will preserve the integrity of our land for generations to come," she stated.
Traditions of America is planning to build 204 homes on 68-acres for adults 55 years of age and older.
Hanover Supervisors will meet again on September 25, 7 PM, at its Municipal Building at 3630 Jacksonville Road.
