You own views are appreciated, especially if they differ from mine. But remember, commenting is a privilege, not a right. I will delete personal attacks or off-topic remarks at my discretion. Comments that play into the tribalism that has consumed this nation will be declined. So will comments alleging voter fraud unless backed up by concrete evidence. If you attack someone personally, I expect you to identify yourself. I will delete criticisms of my comment policy, vulgarities, cut-and-paste jobs from other sources and any suggestion of violence towards anyone. I will also delete sweeping generalizations about mainstream parties or ideologies, i.e. identity politics. My decisions on these matters are made on a case by case basis, and may be affected by my mood that day, my access to the blog at the time the comment was made or other information that isn’t readily apparent.
I guess their jealous that Schlossberg got a get out of jail free card and don't want to take a chance in coming in 2nd...
ReplyDeleteif the challenger loses they should have to foot the bill for the costs of the challenge. bet that would cut out a bunch of BS.
ReplyDelete@9:36 - only if the money would come directly out of their personal paycheck and not political contributions...

ReplyDeleteExcellent point!!
Agree. Let's not have challengers. Incumbents are doing a fine job and shouldn't be challenged. Elections should be for life.
ReplyDeleteBernie,
ReplyDeleteCandidate Wanda Mercado Arroyo has called the state. She was informed there is no challenge. Clearly there is some mix up.

That's interesting. I did not see one, but Micek reported it.
ReplyDeleteScott, I just checked again. There is a challenge.
ReplyDeleteTypical that the state would be misinformed or be ignorant of their own information. Can't wait till they run our health care.

excellent point, Scottie. Doctors and private hospitals have never, to my knowledge, made a simple mistake!!!
ReplyDeleteIn Allentown we are going to have a hoot of a primary. 131 - Each party has produced only 1 candidate. 132 - No Republican candidate in an open seat Amazing that the non-incumbetnt Democrat has no challengers 133 - Each Party has produced only 1 candidate. 135 - Each Party has produced only 1 candidate
ReplyDeleteP.S. - Allentown Democrats only have Obama to vote for in their preference poll. Rublicans may have more candidates but the race may be over before PA votes.
A hoot of an election.
I'll take the advice of my doctor over that of one I am assigned to by a government plan any day.
ReplyDeleteDon't be stupid.

Why is Marcia Hahn so afraid of Alteri? Can she not win on her record? Altieri had well over 400 sigs. Hahn's people must have looked very hard. Why?
