Deely Having Trouble Getting 300 Signatures?

Easton teacher and its former union president, Kevin Deely, is challenging State Rep. Justin Simmons in the Center Valley and Allentown (131st state district). As the date for filing petitions draws near, the anonymous attacks at Simmons have begun. Because they are off topic, I've been deleting them.

Yesterday, I learned that Deely is having trouble getting 300 signatures, and has resorted to using nonresident circulators to push him over the top.

Maybe his campaign should spend a little less time smearing Simmons and a little more time gathering signatures.

  1. For every signature receive a doobie snack.

  2. Maybe you should worry less about so-called anonymous attacks on Simmons and worry about devoting an entire thread on a rumor about Deely.

Pot I say have you met kettle!!!

  7. Mr. Simmons you have a problem it's called voting for a TAX increase. Citizens Alliance of Penna. Called it a TAX.
What would Joe, John, Lowman, or Leo think now.
What would Elmer say "We have another RINO".
So much for the rugged individual.

  9. Simmons will probably try to explain his vote on Act 26 (EIT tax and wealth transfer) and the Marcellus TAX as follows,

The other legislative members tricked me, My machine had a break down, It was ghost voting, I had to use the restroom or it was Youthful Exuberance.

  10. Getting baked all the time just kills motivation. Deely needs to put the bong down, turn off the TV, get out there and put more effort into this.

    Sincerely,

  11. Did Simmons ever have a real job before he ran for the State house?
He 's a kid and he obediently follows the dictates of his party just as Hardeeharhart and the rest of them do..I find the jabs from the right in this column comical..Wasn't he a right wing champion at one time?

  12. He was. The difference between the right and left is that the right doesn't say "Oh well, he can betray us as long as he gets us our handouts."

  14. After Bernie uncovered Justin Simmons yes vote on Act 26 (EIT Tax grab) and his Vote on the job killing Marcellus Gas TAX Bill, that will now Limit local control over Planning, Zoning and land use regulations, I reviewed Simmons expenses on his website and listed them for review by the public..The following day Simmons deleted them from his website.

  17. 1:58,

Don't you have to work at least one day in your life to become a man? I think you meant to say the "child, child". That would fit Simmons more..deely , at least, has worked for a living, making him a man, man..Simmons now also has to contend with the old district, not the new and improved republican gerrymandered district..Must be pants pee time for the youngster, lol..

  18. The disgruntled person who claims to be a former staffer is at it again with personal attacks.
Or is this really Justin Simmons claiming to be a former staff Member...Even J.Edgar was known to wear a dress.
I am a concerned citizen who checked on Simmons after he was exposed for voting for TAX increases.

  19. I'm not the former Representative, However I checked Simmons taxpayer paid website.
The "MAN CHILD" has deleted all his expenses for the past year except the Jan 2011.
However I recorded his expenses and will recap at a later time.
He's not " paying his own way to work"

  20. Oh Honey, You really need to go see your neighbor the Doctor and get back on your medication. The kid is really getting to you.

  21. Simmons was a "right Wing " Champion until he began to vote for Tax increases.
And Bigger centralized government that voided local control over zoning and land use by local officials.
He also submitted expenses after he told the voters he would "pay his own way to work".
    He became a "RINO"........

  24. Another Moment at the Office
Simmons..Paschke, Quick I've been smoked out,Lets Draft a Bill to repeal the EIT TAX.
Paschke..But you Voted for the Bill and supported the TAX.
Simmons..I know, but I'll tell the Voters a "good Old Day's Story" and tell them my YES Vote was really a NO Vote

  25. Wow, people, do you not have anything more constructive or productive to do?????

Karen Beyer, she is a sad case. She needs to worry about her own life, her personal life and her career life and keeping a job for herself, instead of Justin Simmons business.

  26. Rep. JUSTINE Simmons chose to enter public life.. He also suported TAX increases and a growth in a larger government. His metamorphis as a RINO is finally upon us.
Obviously he can't take being monitored by the public, therefore he may want to think about getting his old job back as school crossing guard at the college!

    ReplyDelete
  27. And no I'm not the ex-Rep. "JUST"
a resident who after reading Bernie's article about JUSTINE's vote. Decided to review his website.
    Further, Idon't know either!
and am a first time commentator on Bernie's web.
However, I must have him scrambling!

    ReplyDelete
  28. At this point, the only ones reading these comments are your campaign, Simmons' campaign and me.

  29. Bernie,

    I have no campaign, "JUST"

    Bernie,
Thanks for the opportunity to comment on your site. I'm not into Politics and have never ran for elected office.
But, if a first time commentator and a first time Blogger can shake Simmons up and Call him out what could professionals do?
