Call Me Professor

In addition to being a Fake Reverend, I'm also a Fake Professor.

This Thursday, I'll be one of four panelists discussing local government during Northampton Community College's 3-day Citizens Academy. I'll be joined by Fake Professors Ron Angle, Sal Panto and Jose Rosado. Class starts at 6 PM, and I have a pop quiz ready.

My appearance, as one of four panelists in a two-hour discussion of local government, has some people very upset. "It's outrageous, and sad, that you'd host Bernie O'Hare at Northampton.edu on March 1," claims one person in an email to NCC bigwigs.

Today, these truth manipulators actually lie to you with a Gracedale blog post claiming that the event has been canceled.

NCC Cancels Workshop

Citizens Academy - An Inside Look At How Government Works...CANCELED!!!

Yes ladies and gentlemen of NorCo, the planned course scheduled for March 1st, 2012 has officially been canceled, and while a lack of interest has been deemed the reason for the cancelation, the full truth may be that NCC received much negative feedback regarding two presenters 1) the ousted - Ron Angle, and 2) the disbarred Bernard Ohare.
The three week course was designed to assist We The Peopleunderstand better our local, state and federal government, as if we don't understand government well enough already.

It's sad to see outright lies being posted on another blog, even a hate blog, in an attempt to deceive you. But it's no surprise.

They lied about Gracedale, too.

I'm looking forward to Thursday. The class will take place as scheduled.

  1. Why does this series of lectures cost $29.00 to attend?

  2. Probably bc of the overhead. So far as I know, none of the presenters are receiving a dime. As you may have heard, there have been severe budget cutbacks at community colleges, so they now have to charge for some things that used to be free of charge.

  3. I was looking forward to hearing from Mayor Panto and seeing how he acted, or reacted, to you and Ron. I have not met him, heard a lot good about him and wanted to jude for myself.

    Will it be re-scheduled?

  4. It is going on as scheduled. This Thursday, 6 PM.

  5. It is not a free event, one must register and pay ahead of time.

  6. I'm shocked - SHOCKED - that anyone would post falsehoods on the Internet!

  7. I just personally spoke to Melissa Starace and the event is on as planned.

I asked the nice folks at Saving Private Gracedale if they would provide me with a contact or a link about the cancellation. I am certain they will do so.

  8. Whenever I look at their blog, I feel as though I'm reading pronouncements from al-Qaeda.

  9. Intentional and easily refuted falsehoods from a group that claims God is on its side is shocking to me.

  10. They deleted my original post stating I had spoken to Melissa Starace directly, along with a reply from an Anonymous and my reply to that.

    Wow.

  11. Yep. God must have told them to delete you ... and to lie.

I called Melissa, too, after reading their blog. She told me the event was going on as planned, had never been canceled, and had in fact received a number of registrants.

Their blog is a deliberate attempt to sabotage an educational event with an outright lie.

  12. Untouched, After being caught in a lie, the Fake Rev. is now accusing you of being me.

  13. I just responded to that, Bernie, and frankly I don't know which of us should be the more offended!

  14. Now he's deleted his request for "confirmation" I'm not you, as well as my response to it.

He's crazier than a shithouse rat...I give up.

Does "the Rev" write that blog - or does he contract it out to Charly Gordon from "Flowers For Algernon"?

  15. We are judged by the company we keep. Bernie and his alter ego may continue to attack the good people at "Saving Private Gracesale" but people know that this is in fact the hate blog.

Sal Panto decides to "teach" government with Ron Angle and Bernie O'Hare. Why does the college use two people who aren't even in government when so may qualified people exist. Sal Panto has chosen his bed now he must live with the bedbugs.

people will not support him for county executive.
We don't need another county executive who needs to to be told what to do by Angle and O'Hare.

  16. I gave this person the names of the two blogs I write. I don't know what else I can do to prove to him that I'm not you. Or that you're not me. Or any other lyric from "I Am The Walrus".

The most cursory look at our writing styles would convince even the smallest brain trust that we are different people.

There are some very scary people in Northampton County...and not all of them are on Turner, Front or Chew.

  19. Well - lesson learned. I should have gone the screen shot route so I'd have back up.

  21. Since NCC is partially funded with local tax dollars from participating communities. I don't think it is outlandish that someone would have objections to something they are hosting. If it is a legitimate concern or a vendetta, the school has an obligation to assess the validity of the charges. If they choose to move forward with the appearance they should be prepared to ensure safety for the speakers and the audience. They should expect a possible protest by the offended parties. I'm sure there would be protests if the school sponsered Muslim Clerics, extreme left or right political activists, or Santa. You and Mr. Angle have been a point of local controversy for years. You should have expected it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Excuse me? I should expect outright lies from a bunch of loons? You are as nutty as they.

    ReplyDelete
  23. If Muslim Clerics gave a seminar, the right wing lunatic fringe would be vocal. (Remember the cultural center they wanted to build 7 blocks from ground zero?)
If the school hosted a lecture by Santa Claus the Jehovahs Witnesses would be upset. I'm not siding with the Gracedale people. I am stating the fact that wrong or nutty people could complain. You do seem a bit touchy on the matter. Good luck with your presentation. I'd go, but 30 bucks seems a bit much when I can get it all in here. Now if you comped me at the door that would be sweet.

  24. UT @ 2:55 Turner, Front, and Chew are not located in Northampton County.

  25. @Anonymous 8:27

Of course they aren't...my apologies. I should have written "Lehigh Valley", but I was too busy being Bernie O'Hare!

When you stated is that Ron Angle and I should have expected this, I did get upset. I was well aware that people were complaining and did expect that, but did not expect them to outright lie. I suppose I should have expected it.

  27. "but 30 bucks seems a bit much when I can get it all in here."

    I think it's a bit much, too.

  28. Panto is with his element with Angle and O'Hare. Hopefully we can have a peaceful silent protest outside the hall.

there is no reason to have an ousted county councilman condemned by both the NAACP and the anti-defamation league, along with a hate blogger.

NCC should be ashamed of itself. I hope county council questions their funding.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Aon 2:40 you should know that Panto IS a teacher. I had Mr. Panto in school in Easton and he was a fabulous teacher and now a fabulous public official. If anything he is the one that deserves to be there. I called him this afternoon and he said that the request came from the college and at the time the other panelists weren't even mentioned.

He said he rarely turns down an opportunity to "teach" because the loves it. It showed when he was my 8th grade world cultures teacher.

You don't have to like him politically, althought you are in the minority, but don't even say anything negative about his teaching abilities. He is one of the best.

    ReplyDelete
  30. The anti-Panto comments are intended as a warning from Democratic hacks who do not want him running for County Exec. They already have their candidate - Callahan - and have no interest in a person who will choose the best person for the job as opposed to rewarding cronies. Panto had nothing to do with selection of the panel. He was simply asked to be part of it. You'll notice no attacks are being launched at Jose Rosado, the 4th panelist. That is bc he is in Fountain Hill and is not perceived as a political threat.

  31. Bernie this is a nasty sadistic group. They will stop at nothing .They are hateful , evil minded people , especially smoyer or whatever her name is and the other couple with the woman who uses a wheel chair. The Reverend should distance himself from these satan like people.

  32. Bernie, do you have contact info, so I may register?

  34. Oh boy. Bernie is using the same pitch for Panto as he used for Stoffa. We got incompetent hacks. The Panto campaign machine and Bernie work well together. To bad you just ended the "teachers" chances at county executive. Maybe he will have to stay in the office he "ran" for!
